The even more baffling thing about this is that the name indicates this is actually a followup title (sequel?) to a forgotten DS game that came out over a decade ago. What a weird way to try and bring in the hyper-casual audience. You'd think they'd want to try and tie it to Wii Sports or Wii Play somehow given that those games have way more brand recognition.
I guess its worth considering that the Switch is more portable and accessible to co-op play now than the DS. I also think its a pretty neat way to have a bunch of traditional board and card games in one big package to play with family and/or friends.

I've been waiting for a followup to 42 all time classics since playing the first one, this was the most unexpected announcement and I lost it when I saw it, best announcement out of the whole direct for me, and while I get where you're coming from, they wouldn't want to label a game "wii..." in the same way they didn't name 1 2 switch "wii party 2: head 2 head" or something along those lines because it isn't on the wii.
My family is over the moon about club house games. We would always play the ds game on long car rides, and we would use the chat room to mess with eachother during our turns in pig or after king of the hill. Those are my fondest memories of childhood and seeing it's now on the switch I'm getting nostalgic all over again.

I really hope they have more unlockable games or add extra games. I remember playing Bullshit/I doubt it, balance, and the soda shake game in class a lot with classmates. The soda shake game would be perfect for the switch's HD rumble.
I really hope there are tutorials on how to play these games. There are so many that I've never played before and I'd love to learn how right from the game itself without having to google it!
