    18:45 I think you mean the 6.5 dB aerial is better on flat terrain for long distance. The shorter 2.1dB will be fine around town or on very hilly terrain where the vehicle is on a significant angle.

    Absolutely fantastic and well thought set up!
    I loved it the way how you've left the car almost looking original but at the same time packed with technology that suits your needs..I think your build is one the most clean and functional set up that Australia has ever seen ..

      Thanks mate, appreciate that. I love the way this cruiser is setup now. Suits my needs just perfectly, albeit a few things here and there to tweak. If budget wasn't an issue a differential re-gear would be a great mod to bring back the factory gearing.
      Cheers

    For those looking at 200 series rack. The arb is the full 200kgs less rack weight of 28kgs from memory. Even off road. It's also much lower to the roof and much quiter

    Great video. How did you end up resolving the parasitic amp draw from redarc bcdc and lithium starting battery?

    • @XploringOz
      @XploringOz  Год назад

      Hey mate, so the lithium starter issue was resolved with a relay switching the BCDC charger off with the ignition. The parasitic draw was determined to be a couple of accessories that has since been rewired to the auxiliary including the dash cams, winch control box and Ultragauge. Much better now 👍

    Love your episodes, Nathan. As an LC200 owner, you have helped me a lot, giving us some great ideas. I think the rear tailgate light gets me the most comments. I'm currently looking at an undebonnet fuse box. I can;t see a link above. Could you prpvode some info, includign how you mounted it?

    • @XploringOz
      @XploringOz  Год назад

      Thanks Nick, glad to hear that I've managed to provide some useful ideas over the years.
      In relation to the fuse block, this was created and mounted by Ultimate 4WD Equipment in WA, however after some longer term testing, probably isn't something that I woulds recommend now after experiencing a few little issues here and there. Its simply mounted on top of some other existing equipment 👍

    Great set up and very well presented in the video. Very keen to know roughly how much extra weight have the mods added to your vehicle? I want to make a guess of 450-500 kg excluding the weight of water and additional diesel but looking forward hearing from you about it :) Enjoy your big lap!

    • @XploringOz
      @XploringOz  Год назад

      Yeah for sure, a very popular topic. I have made a video with the cruiser not too long ago. Granted, not all modifications were installed, but the vast majority were. ruclips.net/video/RKqo4yXc8pY/видео.html
      I haven't done another proper weigh since then, with the vehicle by itself.
      Cheers.

    Hi Nathan, can you pls tell me a bit more about the rear adjustable pan hard rod to correct alignment? I've got a 2019 Sahara with BP51s, GCM, diff drop Blackhawk UCAs but no mods to pan hard rod. HAve never been happy with the back end wobble since suspension work down - will the PH rod fix this? Thanks.

    • @XploringOz
      @XploringOz  Год назад

      Hey mate,
      So as you lift up the cruiser the rear axle will start to shift slightly to the drivers side. This is quite obvious when you have offset tyres like I do. The rear pan hard rod will allow to adjustment to bring that axle back into perfect centre again.
      If you're having troubles after your suspension install then this is something I would definitely try. It's not too expensive either, just need to find shop to do it and get a wheel alignment done after instal 👍

    Hi Nathan, my rear storage system is, like yours fantastic, but just like you, the space between my storage system and rear side windows is good storage that is difficult to take advantage of.
    In my case, GU Y61 Patrol, Emu Gull Wing window not available for the rear passenger side as rear air con is ducted behind original glass, also both rear side windows contain FM radio antennas, so in theory I'm not able to utilise gull wings, in any case the hinge mechanism of the Emu gull wings would be impeded by internal roof storage.
    Should any of your dedicated followers have a manufacturer of gull wings windows for the GU passenger side, I'd appreciate input.
    Mate, you are so set up, and I'm annoyed with myself as I'm about to mount EGT/Boost gauge and totally forgot your detailed install of your gauges, as I'm really not a fan of pillar pod housing, illuminated gauges at night would impede my night vision, especially to verging traffic on my right.
    I'm attempting to find a suitable location to mount the Redarc G52-BET gauge I've sourced.
    By the way, my Itech 1420 pro is working a treat isolated by my old Redarc SBI12 converted into a basic ignition activated relay.
    Love your work mate.
