Gogglebox and Celebrity Big Brother star George Gilbey dies

- Former Gogglebox star George Gilbey has died aged 40. The reality TV star, who also appeared in Celebrity Big Brother is reported in UK news to have fallen whilst 'working at height.'
Former Geordie Shore star Ricci Guarnaccio was one of the first to pay tribute to George, sharing a collection of pictures of himself and George on X, formerly Twitter.
George was best known for his time on the sofa with his mum and step-dad on Gogglebox, Linda and the late Pete McGarry.
Gogglebox confirmed news of his death in a statement, saying: "Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Linda, and George’s family and friends at this very sad time."

No, Linda stopped being a part of the show after George sadly passed.
She has still been struggling a bit since then. And now this tragic incident that has taken her son.
My heart truly breaks for her.

I was lucky enough to have worked with George on a TV pilot show filmed but never aired... several years ago. He was a really friendly nice guy, real sad to hear about his untimely passing. RIP.

Caroline had cancer several times throughout her life, unfortunately. Just as 1 in 2 of us will have and we won't all make it.
1 was pretty overweight, not a good thing, health wise.
1 was middle aged, as many die when they're middle aged and don't happen to reach old age, sadly.
And 3 of them were elderly. Who knew old people end up dying. Astounding. 🙃
Plus one was an old dog, also.
