    I love this! Your quilting is the reason I watch your show. More of this please!!!! I disagree with the person who says it was too fast. I loved the pacing! I can pause and go back. But I get impatient when they go SO slow on other tutorials.

    Thank you so much for your videos! They encourage me so much to fibally not hesitate anymore and try quilting. Most time i am like 'wow this looks pretty and i wanna do it' but then I hesitate 'how the Heck am i gonna do it?? Can I even?' You help me find the knowledge, skills and courage for it :)

    Fantastic tutorial - one of your best. The quilting explanations were very clear and I appreciate you including the free directions for the zipper pouch. I've been doing more FMQ lately using your dot to dot method and I really like the results. I always say "I am chanelling my inner Angela Walters" when I do it. Thanks for all you do.

    Hi Angela! I’m newer to watching you. Been watching for about 2 weeks and have seen so many of your already(they’re addicting). All shows are awesome, as are you! I’m curious, it looks like your quilt tops are quilted differently than your backs? Am I seeing things or do you do them separately? If so how? I was taught to sandwich, quilt top, batting and then back ground fabric. Because of you I’m going to start practicing free motion quilting with some of your designs. I just do super basic swirls. Thanks

    Hi! I literally stumbled upon your videos one night when stress induced insomnia (I have four boys...and husband😬😬😵)kept me up watching RUclips one night and now I am determined to QUILT! But I just own a regular sewing machine, a BROTHER CS6000i. I have a walking foot and a hopper for free motion quilting...But can I do the kind of quilting you do on a regular sewing machine? Can a novice, only as needed sewer jump into quilting? Where do I begin? Any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you❤

    Wonderful to see you showing this class I have done it and am loving making the journal covers in particular. Angela I love your work and your videos but whoever edited this one is not my favourite. You know, it is very different from regular garment sewing, which is my background. The first attempts sort of felt wrong, you know, intentionally not seeing straight? But it comes pretty quickly, and is very relaxing. I takes practice, but give it a try, make some pot holders or a similar item where it is not essential for it to look great. I made a sofa blanket, I can find the mistakes, which are many, but everyone else sees the overall product.

      Think about what you would pay for it, if you found one at a craft show...ask other 'makers' what they would pay for it (only ask other crafters as they know how much time it takes to make handcrafted items)....I'd pay about $10-$12.

    When making your quilted sandwich... Why use a backing fabric if it's not going to show? I've been experimenting and haven't had any problems machine quilting without a backing fabric... Even high loft polyester batting quilts like a dream without a backing fabric. 💝☀🌵

    • @winterzee
      @winterzee 5 лет назад

      I find that I get more fuzz and lint in my machine if I don't have a backing.

    • @suzisaintjames
      @suzisaintjames 5 лет назад

      @@winterzee, hmm? I guess it a matter of finances. I'd rather spend a few minutes dealing with a little lint (which I do every bobbin change anyway) than use a piece of fabric that costs $7-15 per yard that nobody's going to see or even know that's there.... Truth is, on this little bag, I'd use a backing and skip the lining. 😉. Sending lots of love💝 from sunny ☀Arizona 🌵
