@@ExocagedRC Thanks I see good prices for large packs with hard packs .. I just got a Kreaton EXB added Hobbywing XR8 Plus ESC and 4274 2250 kv so far so good rear differential is clicking a bit not sure what it is just started after first bash ...
@@ExocagedRC I'm running max6/4092 1480kv with 500k in center diff and im experiencing alot of heat in my center diff. Would you suggest 1 million/ear plugs?
I have a question. Just purchased a mojave and i would like to run powerhobby 6500 6s batteries as well. I was curious how long they take to charge on your protec 610? How many do you charge at a time and how long till full charge? And do you use a power source, if so which one? Id love to charge 6s 6500 battery in 2C so i can have fast charge times. Thanks. Any help appreciated
If I remember correctly the 610 has 100 watt per channel. I think that only comes out to about 4.5amps. So it would be 1-1.5 hrs to charge. When selecting a charger the higher the wattage usually means the higher the charge rate. You won’t be able to get a 13a charge on a 6S with this charger. I’d guess you’d need a 300watt charger to get that and most likely you will need a power supply. The 610 charger runs on electric or DC but the max amps is still limited to 100watt per channel.
@@ExocagedRC thanks ! Appreciate it. Looking up thr 610 i found the duo 625 with its own internal dc power source. Only 2 channels but i think it should be sufficent as its 25A, 200 watt per channel. So it will for sure hit 2c charging on a 3s 6500. Or just over 1c i think on a 6s 6500. This is my first electric as i have 2 nitros.
Great video, awesome upgrades. Question I took my Mojave out yesterday into the parking lot on asphalt with a small jump ramp coming off with nice speed, and the car jumps awesome, but I noticed the chassis slaps the ground because of the soft suspension. I tighten up the springs several turns by twisting, will that help a lil. Keep up the great videos Thanks, Jeff.
This truck is designed to have a very plush suspension to absorb things so it will bottom out on most any jump, you can stiffen the springs and thicken the shock oil but it will still bottom out. My suggestion is not to jump it and land on asphalt, thats not good for any truck.
Finally broke down and got an 8s Xmaxx. I ran it for 30 mins in backyard and I broke the rear c hub. I couldn't believe it. Is there anything else that's a weak link on a stock Xmaxx? Thanks and keep the vids coming awesome content love the channel! Have a wonderful day
The rear hubs are a real weak point of X-Maxx, you need to change it for a RPM ones, are harder and have a big size bearings, better performance and durability.
man we rarely ever break a chub front or rear, depending on your budget I'd go with the Vitavon triple bearing rear chub, I have a video on them, oversized bearings, billet aluminum and a whole lot of awesome.
Yeah I was crazy I jumped it off the fence and at landed just right on the right or rear tire and broke the c hub like it was butter . Considering when I had just paid for it I was a little disappointed but it's going to happen
What motor esc combo do you recommend on the Mojave that will give a little speed then out the box but stay on 6s would a 2700kv TP motor and hobbywing max6 be good thats kinda what im leaning towards but any good advice is accepted :) as always love the videos
I like the TP motors but the run hot from the ones I’ve had and are major amp pullers. You can use the 20t pinion and get more speed out of the stock setup. The 1650 in here is slower than stock.
I didn't run it down in this, spent about 15 minutes or so driving to get the footage and it wasn't done yet. In the sand power is used fast and heat builds fast as well.
@@ExocagedRC been using zeee battery 5200mah 80c 3s (x2) on my infraction and mojave and they only last like 7mins its terrible. I am hoping these will last longer, thoughts on those zeees dying that fast?
Sure! Add MORE weight to my race truck, cause I’m too lazy(cheap) to swap out batteries😂😱🤣😎❤️?!?!? Power to weight ratio....it’s science🥰 Lipo battery manufacturers compensate for poor C rating, with more battery mass(weight).
ahhhhh ok yeah, you've seen either mine or others ESR tests... NO battery out there is over 30C no matter what they say, at 120 degrees like you see here they are at their best for available current output. Its a fairly heavy truck out of the box so the overall added percentage of weight isn't a whole lot considering you'd be stacking 2 3s or 4s or even another large 6s in there.
Sypom 6s lipo won't make up for poor c rating with battery quality. If you need battery next time, Could you consider sypom 6s lipo? Their suitable for arrma Mojave.and their can provide enough energy to your arrma Mojave. If you are interested, click on my homepage to contact me directly.
My v3 talion puffed two and my v4 kraton puffed two i thought i geared too high but no just bad batteries and don't buy the turnigy 6s they puff quick to
The slow mo of the suspension travel was so awesome to watch 🤩

Thank you so much you saved my account :D
The suspension on this truck is insane. Well done Arrma.
Great video, where ARRMA Mojave goes over obstacles is very cool.
Love the paint scheme from Arrma on that body
me too
Get the Scorched Rc inner fenders... I’m new to rc.. only have the Mojave, but the first mod I did was the inner fenders, to keep all that dirt out
Your Mojave has gone through quite the metamorphosis! 😃
Mojo looking bad ass! Mean machine!! I've been using the Power Hobby batteries and they are fantastic!!
What a beast. Man I love these trucks
Like how it bust through the dirt. The Xmaxx and Kraton would like those ruts
true, they are bigger than the ruts too
Aahhh I love that sensored pull off! 👍🏾
Gear it up a little and she will be an absolute beast. Nice vid as always. Bash on !!!
The slomo looks like the slit beds in Baja 1000!!! Very cool EXO!!!
I was trying to get that and with the shiny wheels its more visable
Such a great vehicle I want another one I bashed the other day first time with it and amazing
I have that battery In my limitless
I can't wait to see what those sledgehammers do on the Maxx.
lol you saw that..
Damn it. I want a Mohave too. I just bought the EXB Kraton and still waiting for the ESC and motor to show up. Gotta have a Mohave too. Lol
This 6S are awesome, wow.
Sypom 6s lipo are also awesome .their can provide enough energy to your arrma Mojave.
😎👀💯 Digging The slow no, Arrma shod be proud
Great job there on that battery 🔋 test...
The truck is awesome
Really would like to see your Udr at the same spot in slo mo and compare suspension.
I've done that before but now that I have two 6s batteries... I may be able to do exactly that.
Great addition I have been looking for a 6s battery ...do you know anything about SMC batterys the graphene battery 120c ....
I haven't messed with any graphene battery yet so I can't honestly say much about them

How is the battery holding up. My zee 6000 6s are starting to swell which is strange because zee is all I run and I’ve never had a battery swell
thinking of putting in my xmax 6s esc and motor into an mojave exb. Is this sacralige:?
lol go for it, the motor won't bolt up unless you get the motor end piece from WFO
@@ExocagedRC Will do thanks
What pinion and spur are you using and what are the temps after a full run
it needs a little weight in the rear and it will jump flatter, maybe a spare tire would be enough and it would look trophy truck
A suspension adjustment is all that is needed. The extra weight of the aluminum wheels keeps it grounded and throws things off.
@exocaged rc what weight center diff fluid are you running?
I put in a couple silicone ear plugs

That fart practically had its own microphone hahahahahah
What's the run time on the battery.? Cheers.
20-30 minutes
You're using a lot of castle motors, do they make one compatable with the Kraton 4s?
The 6s sidewinder or rhe 2200kv castles work great on 4s
The Castle stuff is better than Dynamite ones.
yeah get a monster X esc and a 2200kv motor and you should be good to go. I have liked castle for years for this kind of stuff.
