A remake of Buster Keaton's JAIL BAIT featuring Andy Clyde (who always plays himself in these Columbia comedies) in Keaton's role. Hadn't seen this one in such a long time.
This is one of many Columbia Pictures Corp. Andy Clyde shorts that use the Merry-we-Roll-Along” theme instead of Andy Clyde’s signature theme song: “The Farmer In The Dell”.
@@Five-so5jv I post titles very sporadically. It takes time and money aquiring these prints and I upgrade when I can. BTW, Columbia made 526 two-reel comedies. I'm missing approx. 70.
@@TheShortsDepartment HAHA, ok, I've nothing better to do right now, so I'll play along, tell me where you find original prints, and how you "transfer" them, transfer to what

This is Mary's Lamb. One of Andy's theme was Old Grey Mare.
This theme is indeed called "Merrily We Roll Along".
Is it the same as the Eddie Cantor song?

Pretty good short Although the humor is all over the place in this one and in some places some dark humor overall it was good.

Is this channel dead? ⚰
Not dead. Just haven't posted in a long while. The new year will change that.
For a "shorts Department" you seem very short on shorts!!

@@Five-so5jv where do you think the film prints come from? They have to be purchased and transferred.

@@Five-so5jv How about you use your "play along" time and google 16mm/35mm film transferring and scanning?
Educate yourself a bit.
