The issue is when some drivers are plowing through on restarts. I don’t think it is exciting type of racing when you have to reck someone to win or advance a position. Yes, bump and run were there in the past but clean racing was far enjoyable by the drivers themselves and the fans.
NASCAR sold more tickets to a very few uneducated race fans for a short while..., then the rest of us shut the tv off, due to crash festival style NASCAR... Bye Bye Nasty Car.
If you still want a nascar Indy double header, surely you can still get it at IMS just move the cones and Indy get the road course and nascar gets the oval
Thank you for showing the interview. That was very good. Hope for you to reach the 1k subscribers soon. I recently started my cooking channel. Numbers moving not too bad. Thanks again.
Blaney held his line on the outside never touched Kyle. Air got him loose. LaJoie drove it in way too hard and washed up. Blaney was mad for 10 mins. Never heard him whine or pout about it. Just spoke to Corey about what happened.
Blaney was mad at other drivers from the start of the race. He was gonna race the fuck out of anyone who got near him. There was no reason for him to race Kyle like he did that early on. Kyle and blaney usually race well together. Blaney was pissed and Kyle wasn’t expecting it..
I didn't really care for NASCAR on the Indy oval, but I definitely don't enjoy the Indy RC. If the new car can make the oval better, it's worth a shot. If it doesn't, I genuinely won't care if NASCAR is racing at Indy.
As a KB fan who was at the race last weekend, I have to disagree about the 12 wrecking the 8. I didn't notice any contact and the 8 definitely went up the track into the corner. He got aero loose and lost it. He wasn't the only one throughout the race to get aero loose in similar situations. It is exactly why the 19 did not pass the 17 for the win.
It’s bc it was the beginning of the race and blaney was already pissed with other drivers. Kyle had the run and momentum on blaney. They usually race well together btw. Kyle ran him down and when he drove in the corner blaney put his car on kyles door on entry. Which is the reason Kyle went up the track. Kyle was half a car ahead which took air off his spoiler. If they were even entering the corner. They would have been fine. That’s why Kyle says blaney caused it… There was no reason for blaney to do it that early on and Kyle wasn’t expecting it. Blaney was pissed and was just gonna race the fuck out of anyone who got near him…
@@gotemlookin20 yes and no. Kyle tried to dive bomb him into the corner as he had to in order to pass on the bottom. If Kyle was allegedly retaliating and running the 12 up the track intentionally, he is still responsible for his own wreck. If he maintained the bottom, he wouldn't have lost the air. Watching it in person, it looked more like Kyle dove in and couldn't make it stick to the bottom at that speed, ran up the track, and got aero loose.
Re the oval thing: this road race wasn’t any more compelling than the racing on the oval. Little action at the front. They need to race on the oval. I agree with KB completely.
Nascar has the wrong leader. They could do so much better. Especially for drivers. They are Nascar. Second PitCrew. Without a great pit crew, your in last.
I think on all NASCAR restarts (like a few dirt tracks I've raced at was) on ovals should have the leader out front and then double file from there back and single file all the way thru the pack on road courses. There is nothing worse than working for 3 or 4 laps getting the lead in a 15 lap race then losing it when someone jumps starts and the flagman lets it go with 2 laps to go. That's another thing, I don't remember a Nascar flagman ever declaring a jump start and restarting the race. Last week I watched the outside pole (same car) jump start the race twice and the flagman did nothing. Is there something I'm missing on the rules or is it who you are. I thought the inside pole started any race with an honest flagman anyway. I have even been to some tracks that were so dishonest that the promoter would overrule the flagman even when the flagman was right.
They call it Nasty Car now, and we turned our TV sets off long ago. Guys like Kyle Bush matter a lot..., I appreciate his weight in these matters. Hailie Deegan is coming and she will be violently attacked. The Boy Children who do so need to meet up with a few fans in a dark parking lot, after they crash her out. The Truck punks do it almost weekly. Look at her performance amongst real Racers in SRX competition..., Paul Tracy not one of them in. In boat racing you get penalized a lap. Nascar just tried to sell more tickets and watched the fans quit watching the crap of rich kids.
Loved the blaney comment, and also nascar needs to go away from road courses,if I want to watch road racing i have options to see that boring shit, indy car, formula one,IMSA etc
Completely disagree with the moving away from road course. Road / street course tends to be the most exciting racing. NASCAR on an oval outside of the super Speedways is beyond boring! Drivers that have fast cars, those things just pilot themselves for the most part. Road courses proves who is a more skilled driver. If you can take turns and pass other racers without using a drafting partner, that just shows the kind of skill it takes to be a fast racer
The Indy 500 handled it perfectly, with that final lap hot rod show and a clean victory in 2023. Don't be shy about re-educating the crash children, driving "Dady Rich Cars". in NASCAR. The year Jimmie Johnson was given his 7th with 18 or more yellows and a ton of laps made up by wave arounds...! That was exactly when I stopped wasting my time trying to enjoy. Adding in "TIME OUT RACING", now I barely watch a single recap of anything stock car.
It's a show...it's entertainment...hmmmm...and here I thought it was a car race? Sure, they "race", but the number of yellows that bunch a filed back for "excitement" because a good driver has strong lead, but the wrong driver, the odd penalties on what should be "one design" for the most part and not strongly punishing attacks on the track....NASCAR meet WWE. Many years ago I watched two mid-level racers, the next season somehow run one and two at times and one driver, on a super speed way race somehow had so much HP he could pull away from the pack...I stopped watching. When NASCAR pushed the whole Young Guns plot line, I stopped watching because I knew they were throwing away the decades of time built by parents to children in supporting great drivers. Now they sow this entertainment with misogynistic man-children running rampant on a track, diminishing crowds and constantly searching for the "right" formula that they had and threw away.

Go Rowdy Nation
I'm a true fan, Kyle is only a controversy because he is so FAST... and often victorius.
Kyle Busch is Spot On!
Indy def needs to go back to the oval move the double header elsewhere

Finally someone standing up for Lajoie lmao.

How about Indy and nascar run at the same time on a road course? Now that would be exciting to watch.

I wish nascar did single file starts overall everywhere. It's ass double, especially at plate tracks.
I’m ok with single file restarts
Nascar is a sinking ship nowdays
Chicago was the most watched race since 2017 though....
Tells me it could be on the up. Shane Van Gisbergen will bring some fans from Australia and NZ

..but these drivers aren't good enough to make double file restarts here.
Race is going to be boring

both is good
@@jeremyalger2828 Which means Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordan were by far the best drivers while they were racing in the Cup series.
Are you insane? Watkins Glen is one of the best tracks on the schedule, you obviously don't understand good racing
Wait so are you talking about the part where he also mentioned Blaney wrecked him? Cause to me it looked like Busch came up into Blaney

All restart should be voted on by the drivers it is their race cuz without the drivers you don't have a race
single file restart with 10 or less laps remaining at any track. lose the demo derby at the end of these races.

They gotta do it Short Track style: a complicated web of heats, eliminations, up to a final 10 lap "Shootout" with only like 8 cars.
I'm picking SVG to win.
I don't like this Indy track at all. Been watching racing years now. Bring back oval
