Hi friend, thank you for this video, I am trying to know how to change the gears because there are no circlips on the axle like other motors, is there one on each gear ?
Do you know if that free hub on the G062 is able to use a 12 speed cassette or is it the smaller free hub that is restricted to smaller cassette size? I am hoping to mount the original 12 speed cassette on my Fat Bike but realizing I might not be able to shift into the largest cog.
I realize this is an old video but... I came across this by accident after the fact. 🤷 My free hub tower showed up brand new and I couldn't coast properly or pedal backwards without throwing the chain, until I soaked it in penetrating oil. I used PB blaster. The really difficult part is if you ever lose one of those six screws securing that Tower to the hub, it's impossible to find them. If you buy a 4x8 mm screw it's going to have a larger size head . I've searched high and low online. The heads on those screws are non-standard size and very small. I ended up using 4x8 mm screws and had to grind down the edge of the head so they would not touch the free hub tower. What a pita. This is one of the worst designs ever. Possibly purposely difficult to find parts. Planned obsolescence means repeat customer Business.

What is the way to freewheel the freehub hub on Bafang engines?
