Your sense of humour is just one of the many reasons why people watch your channel. Don't ever change it mate.😊🖒
The hell with the naysayers. I’m just glad another beetle video is coming. Keep it up bubba
Great job as always looks awesome! Im excited to see what’s next
Man I’m pumped! It’s been a while since you’ve released a video!
I just came here from Rex's channel, and I just want to say- this is some freakin' BEAUTIFUL work.
It’s always so good to see a Green Beetle video pop up in the subscription feed. You make damascus look as easy as baking a cake.
Glad to see you making videos again!
I have watched Rex Kruger’s video and both of you are brilliant!
Wow the Apache where more advanced than was thought. I can see them now sitting around the camp fire, busy hammering.
The swinging link is a very creative solution to your problem, IMHO.
Way out of my understanding this iron works but a helluva a lot of fun to watch. Thanks for working with Rex and glad I connected with you! Beautiful job and good luck on the auction!
I like how the parts near the tang look more like stone. Kind of like it was chipped out of flint.
Holy Toledo Gumby you’ve come a long way from rebar on a rock!!!👍🏼
:)
enjoyable, not just for the skill, but the humor.
Really like the pseudo "obsidian" base to the steel. Well done on that.
I'm a simple man. When I see a Green Beetle video I drop everything I do at the moment to watch it
Huge fan of blacksmithing videos...watched tons of them on youtube...follow forged in fire...never even heard of green beetle. Followed over from Rex. Guess I'm gonna have to subscribe.
Man certainly comes up with some fascinating ways to de-animate his fellow man. 😈
Excellent craftsmanship on this knife! 👍
the brass spacers are a nice little addition
Got here from rex's vid. Beautiful work!
My two favourite makers on RUclips have collaborated, and holy shit is the end product worth the wait.

Beautiful Damascus!
You're becoming the Damascus Master! Beautiful.
You are easily one of the funniest and most entertaining RUclips craftsmen out there. Hats off, Sir, for sharing your wealth of knowledge, inspiration, and beautiful work!
That is awesome.
pattern in the steel plus the decorative work near the base gives it an almost knapped flint kind of vibe

Steve, an absolute work of art.
I have one I made with a shorter stock and the blade is A2 steal and hard as hell, it pierces steel doors like they were paper
I just discovered Rex the other day and subscribed. Now I saw his video making the wooden part and came directly here! 😃
Just subscribed as well! Fantastic job, dude! Really beautiful piece! 😃

The prodigal son of Damascus returns
Good to see you're still here dude :)
whoah, your voice is different in this one... kooky. Awesome project! I love your videos and hope to forge a blade myself some day
I had a cold 🙁
Awesome as usual man
It's amazing how patient we are these days eh? Thank you Internet and Amazon prime! Lol
Sorry you’re getting a ton of flack for this premiere Beetle, is there a better way to announce videos?
I know you want to be able to respond to comments and appreciate that.
No worries, I'll try to figure out a way to do this better next time. Premiere allows me to chat in real time with anyone watching the premiere which I've been wanting to try. I probably should have announced the premiere the morning of or 15 minutes ahead of time, or something.
good work brother
Smith Hand Forged Knives ty friend
For what it is it doesn't need an edge! It was made to bash heads
Enjoyed your video and gave it a Thumbs Up
that's crazy lookin! like some sort o' wierd stone arrowhead
Sweet pattern... Man, that fit up must of taken some time, came out really sweet though... Hope all is well, take it easy...
Any chance of some more detail shots of the variation on ladder pattern there?
Looks great by the way!
Yeeeey! New video! :)
Have you ever tried the instant coffee etch after the ferric? It's supposed to bring out the contrast
I was starting to wonder if you're still alive
can you drill holes in the 15n20 before you start making the billet to get a pattern.
Me being Native American. This is what I've been waiting for.
I already made the real thing without any of what you guys have. Only a knife, sanding paper, saw, string and a knife.
Bravo, bravo, bravo,

Next time try and make the whole thing metal.
Am going to use a broken knieve for the one am making. I dont have any equipement... is to feel safe at home. Quarantine and stuff.
Can you put a link in for the broach saw, I've been needing one for some time but I just can't find one
That's a pretty gnarly gash in your finger.
Last of the Mohicans
Do you ever keep the bits hou cut off to make a odds and ends billit. might be cool
Hey Steven, great job on your knives. thanks But, questions. Why don't you cutcity of middle and stack them as to old Japanese knife? I like to see you do that soon
O man why didn't you show off the whole finished piece!? It's so damn beautiful when the tape is removed.
