    Everybody knows and loves the Ironjawz. I definitely think I have no real input about how they play. 😅 Great job, David!
    Michael, I love ya, man. Major kudos for bringing Kruleboyz up against an alpha-strike Ironjawz list. Love the Trogs! I intend to get some, especially since they're getting major buffs with the new Gloomspite book. The Snatchaboss is baller, dude. My dumb tournament list was made of a Snatchaboss, Skumdrekk, and a Mirebrute. The 3 of them popping off in unison with a Kruleboyz Waaagh! is super fun. 😁 Yeah, Gutrippaz are bad. Until a substantial change happens which makes them less garbage the way they are, they will continue to be garbage. They just fall over to everything. Seriously, just a White Dwarf update that gives Kruleboyz mortal wound output for GETTING wounds would help. Like if they have poisonous blood, and every wound they suffer, they roll a dice and deal 1 mortal wound back. At least you get SOMETHING for keeping them around. To be fair, I haven't experimented much with reinforcing them, putting on a Poison, and keeping a Sludgeraker nearby (because I think that might be interesting), but they just don't work as they are.
    Okay, so. I would be remissed if I didn't point out a couple of things, though. I mean this with all of the love in the world! But the Snatchaboss shouldn't have lifted that pig with the scoop ability. Because you can't target a mount with it. Also, there was definitely at least one point where Michael yanked the chain on the Mirebrute for 1 mortal wound, but only got 1 extra attack with the club. He gets 2 extra attacks per mortal wound (the real goal is 3 mortal wounds for *10* club attacks! 🤕). And lastly, I think when Michael called the Kruleboyz Waaagh!, he only attacked with 1 other unit and the general, when it should have been 2 other units. I'm not sure it would have mattered (or if there were even any other units wholly within 18" of the general), but it can really make for a clutch combat.
    Okay, so the Krondspine. David is absolutely right. One of the dances you need to know with him is the fact that he gets no commands outside of his bonded hero. Which can be difficult if you play aggressively with him. Big bummer that he wasn't able to lift any Trogs when he attacked. But hey! Dice game! 🤣 I think the thing to keep in mind with the Krondspine is to attack other monsters with him. Sending him into anything else is risky, because then he has trouble gaining levels, and runs the risk of losing levels. So here, it might have been a good call to hold back with it until it could move into the Snatchaboss. Also, I think he's just bad in an Ironjawz list. I actually ran a similar list once against a Soulblight player who ran all Terrorgheists. The Krondspine easily survived, but it wasn't able to be combo'd with the Ironjawz traits, like Smashing and Bashing, Mighty Destroyers, and the Ironjawz Waaagh! I think it will be largely better to just take another Mawkrusha, if you have one. Only reason I ran the Incarnate was just because my other Mawkrusha wasn't table-ready. 😕

The game was exciting and fun with the big mistake being our interaction between the sludgeraker and pigs. I agree the Krondspine is no good in an ironjaws build, an alpha pig wave followed by 2 mawcrushas to mop up turns 2 and 3 would be much more fun. We also have 6 more pigs and a megaboss on foot I want to toy around with :) Real excited to get more into the season and see how it all shakes out! Thanks again man ;)

    Great game guys ! Loved this battlereport! On turn 2 though the snatcha boss can’t do the slay a gor gruntas because it’s a mounted unit ? Michael read it out just before he did it , so I don’t think David would have lost his piggies on the 6 man squad . I may be wrong but just thought I’d mention it 😊🙏

    breaka boss should have got 2 attacks per damage taken, you gave him 1 on turn three, but it probably didnt matter

    I love the Rockgut unit for the kruelboyz. Feels like the closest thing they have to a hammer unit. Good use of allies.

    Great game! Could someone explain how the ability to snatch an enemy unit with 7 wounds or less and if the unit is unmounted was able to take the sergeant of the boars, who was mounted? I feel like I missed something but I am unsure of where.

    I think the edge still goes to David and the IJ, but we'll see! Michael has always played the KB very well and to their strengths.

      I know y'all play in a friendly competitive style, but I can't help but think that if Michael was able to tailor his list to give him a better chance, Skullbugz would have been a better choice for subfaction here.
      Turn 1 you had 1 Boltboy within range to shoot, so the faction ability to reroll a single hit per unit was wasted, and you also have 2 units of Gutrippas and a unit of Hobgrots so you don't need the Boltboys as battleline.
      Also Grinnin' Blades would be useless as IJ have no shooting, so Skullbugz getting the possibility to -1 to hit potentially could have helped.
      Again, I get that's pretty BS and trying to fish for an advantage for the KB, but they're just so bad that you gotta tailor lists to stand a fighting chance. REGARDLESS, I am enjoying this and love you guys so I'm really just rambling and ranting about my useless army that I have.

    Great battle. The issue is that kruleboyz need to roll hot on the bolt boyz. Otherways is game over. And today, no 6s with the bolt boyz. Keep it up!!

    One question. How where the piggies able to charge at the end of the phase (1:08) and why didn't the Boltboyz Unleash hell?

      You bet! So Bloodtoofs subfaction allows gore gruntas to either pile in make a normal move or a charge if they have fought in the combat phase once the phase ends. The bolt boys cannot unleash hell because that command is specific to the charge phase. Hope that helps 😀

    One doubt: removing models due to coherency should be done by the end of the turn. Considering this, I believe you should have done the battleshock still with 3 models because this happens during the turn and then removing whatever models remain out of coherency. Is this correct or am I missing something?

      You are correct, and Michael was not actually able to eat the pig because he was mounted, but in the end, the Ironjaws prevailed regardless. Thanks alot for watching Alvaro, we appreciate you very much.

    I could b wrong but i can sware i read in the rules that save rolls canot be modified by more than 1.

      You are correct, but say you are +3 to your save against a -2 rend attack, after all modifiers that will equal 1. So you can stack saves, but the result can never be more than +1 to your save characteristic listed on the warscroll. For instance, a unit of Stormdrake guard have a base save of 3+, so can never save better than a 2+ regardless of modifiers. Hope that helps and happy wargaming!!

    I'm probably being nit picky but turn 1 Kruelboyz battle tactic shouldn't you need to be within 3' of that terrain feature? Rule 18.2? I'm still new so correct me if I'm wrong please.

      Control of the terrain is determined at the end of the turn. so you can move and then be within 3 which is Michael was able to do.

    Just regarding the whole dragons hero phase move comment - it's not the only once per game thing that Stormcast could do that was nerfed but other armies can do multiple times per game. Morathi with bowsnakes shooting every hero phase, yet Thunderbolt Volley was too powerful and needed nerfed.

    I wonder how big it was that the snatch and grab rule was used when it shouldn’t have. It states “does not have a mount “ so gore gruntas woulda been safe.

    I love you guys and your content. But I would say avoid the Krondspine, it’s stupid and boring and should never be allowed in games.
