Some cool tech with mighty destroyer's charge in the hero phase. If you make the charge in the hero phase, you can retreat and are still eligible to pile in later because you made a charge that turn. It gets around fight last tree lords. ;)
that is the most wild and crazy plan ive ever heard, i love it! of course they can redeploy out of your range but if you bait that out you could get!
Was about to type the same thing, megaboss moves outside 3 of belthanos so he can’t be made to fight last…piles in and squishes the bugs…then smash and bash with brutes, got I hope that survives into 4th on some fashion
You have no idea how happy I am to see a tree lord list played! I'm working on just such a list, so it's nice to get some content to compare my efforts against. I don't have enough reps in to understand how to best use the treelord: a fragile, low damage, pinning unit lol
In paper he looks super fragile and doesnt have the highest damage output but he is efficient, and in oakenbrow doesnt lose any of that efficiency until he is basically dead.
This was an extremely lethal game! I loved the sped up deployment cam. It would be cool if we did something like that for movement too and you could explain the movement as the camera rolls in post.
we can certainly try something like that, this was our first attempt at the timelapse for deployment so we are really thankful for the feedback
I love the new deployment Cam, also shows how much effort you put into the studio to bring us high quality battle reports.
I agree. It always bothered me that they discuss what they did with setup and moving without showing anything. Now they just have to do it with the movement phase, they're doing a 30sec piece to camera anyway.

the mawkrusha never gets olds lmaoo, just so much damage, and there wasn't even destroyer!
It is an amazing monster that hits so over its points, it usually just kills anything
I do love these short action-packed videos while I paint up some Wyldwoods. Great motivation to start painting my Durthu as well as some of the Treelords I just got from ebay 😄

I also thought it was over by turn three. Makes you wonder how different it would have been if Sylvaneth hadn't had such a dominant start.
We thought it was over turn 3 as well. but that Maw Crusher just kept coming. Im convinced that if i had played defensive i would have been stuck in a corner all game
I think drycha always wants the 20 shooting attacks in the off chance she fails her charge. If you are just charging what she is shooting anyways its the same amount of dice going into them in melee+shooting.
99% agree, except if you run hoarfrost and leaning to buff those 20 melee attacks
Drycha seem like a pretty awesome mobile gun platform.

Hi Guys, got one question. Sylvaneth picked the battle tactic "Harness the Spirit Paths" in the first Battleround. But then Durthu did the "Autorun" and charged. He was not "set up using the From the Woodland Depths battle trait this turn". How where you able to score this battle tactic? Thank you guys for explanation.
Absolutely :) Strike and fade is part of from the woodland depths, so you just need to use strike and fade. No teleport needed :)
I played a similar list vs seraphon with arch rev and grave tide instead of tree revs and hive as the hive is kinda useless in the list. I took turn 1, teleported the entire army up just out of his charge range turn 1, killed his slann with drycha shooting and a few of the mounted skink guys. His turn I lost drycha and a few wounds on the trees. Won turn 2 prio and just charged everything, killed kroak with durthu, killed about 3/4 of his army and he was done. It's brutal if you just go full on offensive
Against Seraphon, going full send is totally a way to over power their lines and break through that skink castle, if you get durthu killing kroak thats game over.

Its surprisingly easy. For whites start with a dark grey or black and then start dry brushing brighter greys to white. For the vines, screamer pink, for the leaves, emperors children. then i do white scar highlights on everthing. THe bugs i use a color shift from turbo dork called 4d glasses

Did durthu / tree lords not shoot turn 1?
Also I think the mega boss didn’t fight last in bottom of battle round 2 after being ground shaken…
The trees all ran in turn 1 so they couldn't shoot. The megaboss only target was Belthanos who had already fought, so we activated him for ease of play. There was no other unit that could have fought him

Are you finding any use in Ardboyz? I feel like Ironjawz only option is really Bloodtoofs.
Maybe with the recent points drops the ardboys might be more viable but range is still a problem with with, bumbed they didnt get on that 2 inch range increase

Don’t think I have ever heard which Orruk faction is your guys favorite.
My favorite faction is Ironjaws, subfaction Bloodtoofs. Just 18 pigs, Mawcrusha and pepper in some heroes. Is a great time every time!
