Mike is legit my favorite general to have on the channel. He’s very strategic no matter what army he’s playing and just seems like a fantastic guy to game with! Between you, Jordan, and Mike, I could literally play a game with you guys every single day, and not be bored at all!great matchup! Keep it coming!
Well done guys! One of the best battle reports I've seen lately. A lot of cool interactions between 2 destruction armies. Also, love the new editing format. Keep it up!
I'm new to the game and looking for a faction that isn't played much. Our of these two what's played less. These are actually the two I'm most interested in.
@ 14:34, Mike uses "Frenzy of Violence" on two units. Is this "Violent Fury" on the Warchanter and isn't it only able to be used on Ironjawz units? I'm an Orruk player myself and have been looking to improve. Wanted to make sure I'm getting the rules down. Great battle report!
STEALING THE INITIATIVE Do not roll off to determine who has priority in the first battle round. Instead, the player who finished deploying their army first has priority in the first battle round.
@@Kinhussar I am new to the game but I disagree. If all the battle tactic were malee focused that would be a disatvantage for magic/shooting army. If all the battle tactic were combat focused you had a convergence between points and damage to units. The multy level strategic thinking comes from a connection between points and combat. 1) You have to score points which is about controlling the battlefield and making specific moves. 2) To do that you need units, so you have to keep them alive and kill those of the enemy in an advantageus trade. If you make the BT converge on the combat it would just be about combat, the game would get simpler and lose strategical aspects.
@@Strade8 There's a sweet-spot for everything balancing wise. But don't strawman me by making it sound like I want each BT to be "kill a unit". It's not what I've obviously intended to say. There are currently non-interactive, non-counterable, not-requiring-something (aka free) battle tactics in the game, that also don't require tactic, strategy or apprehending your opponent in any way. I - and many people - dislike this, because this game is called WARhammer. Surround and Destroy is an extremely stupid battle tactic for example, especially because it's almost locked for some factions while others can get it for free without a cost (high mobility/teleporting armies/high unit count). The match itself wasn't even a showcase for this, since the players were awesome and it was very fun. Big Waagh is the showcase (in general) though, why current BT system is very lackluster.
Can you provide 8 brand new battle tactics that meet those requirements and are fair to all factions though? Some armies OR lists simply aren't designed to brawl it out with 140 zombies.@@Kinhussar
@@Kinhussar For sure the game can be batter balanced. My vision of the game is maybe different from yours. I see it as a balance between the point game and the fight game. BT get you points, but they can make the fight game harder. Fight limits the options of the enemy but won't win you the point game if you don't score. BT should't be too easy (1-2 is ok if you have more is clearly a problem) and should require consideration of different intereactions. They should't be always counterable because you don't want it to get to a dice roll or a matter of luck. They should't be much about fighting because otherwise the point game and the fight game would be the same and you lose that aspect. Is still WARhammer, but is more complex and less smesh into each other.

I'm glad someone said this. It was fun watching him having fun.
This one of the best reps I’ve watched. Love the narrator VO + cut to you two playing and getting additional audio. Loved this.
Thanks so much, glad you're enjoying it!

Wonderful battle report thanks for the great entertainment! Seeing Big Waagh was amazing and the new format is still top tier for me.
Awesome BatRep guys! love to see Big Waaagh!
Great game guys. Nice to see Mike and his orcs. Interesting both destruction armies hesitating to start the fight😂
Great battle report. Destruction armies are always fun. I really liked the different take on the big waaagh list.
Great game. Would love to see sone big waagh again
Love to see the gargants stomping around!
King Brodds prayer gives additional rend, not attack.
Great video! Thank you!
Go sludgeraker, that was hawt. Enjoying the new bat rep format🎉
Very Nice battle report. I have just one question, how did you done the fight last to the giant please ?
The Kruleboyz Monsta-Killaz unit!
Loving mikes list and his strategy is great
Love this battle report, one thing though how did you get two artifacts with out the command entourage battalion?
Waaaagh! 😂 always happy to see the green boys on the table.
One day I would love to run my skaven list on the channel. 2 claw lords and 360 clan rats!
Trying to cut out Gobsprak!?!?!? He’s the best warscroll in the book!
Damn I want that hat!

Nice Battlereport - especially for me as a newbie to AoS!! ❤
Question - does the wonderful woman voice also play games? 🤔

Thanks! I forgot about the Brute Ragerz.
Love watching King Brodd get smashed! Do hob grots count as Battleline in Big Waggh?
In BW or KB you can count one unit of hobs as battleline for each unit of gutrippaz you bring.
Would it be alright if I reviewed this video for my RUclips channel?
Feel free!
Looking forward for this review!
Heywoah hat is big
ahah
Great Batrep guys
Hi guys. R1 bottom, why did Jordan gets 5 Points? Did he hold more than 2 objectives?
Yep he claimed 3! The man crusher gardens count as 10 models on objectives
Love the hat!
I'm a subscriber and have been for months. Should my name show up in the tacticians?
Hey, just a heads-up are you subscribed at the tactician level?.
Not sure. Guess I’ll have to check. Was kinda why I was asking. 😊
I guess I was just a veteran. Didn’t know that there were different levels. I upgraded to tactician.
@@Justin_Koeppel happy i could help
I like the hat
Behemat smash!
Waaaagh!
You need to roll for who begins first. Also in the first battle round. Only with a tie the one who finished deploying first gets to chose.
STEALING THE INITIATIVE
Do not roll off to determine who has priority in the first battle round. Instead, the player who finished deploying their army first has priority in the first battle round.
As we see here, pacifist battle tactics & grand strats are mostly the only thing wrong with AoS
"I won, because I ran away from you into this random battlefield corner"
