The cost of Nagash definitely takes that into account, but that's not to say I don't agree with you. Manifestations and faction terrain are the two things that were missed on this edition, imo.
I think is nice that they are free, because with poits you either take away army space (if they are good) or nobody plays them. they need some tweeks to not be broken but they idea is nice. One very easy fix would be that you can always have just 1 manifestation summoned at any point. Maybe to hard as a fix, there is for sure some better idea.

Some armies with strong casting can consistently do this. Thereby adding more points to the table than their opponent, the only way to reduce it would be to add points. 4.0 is great but this FREE is a truly terrible play and the recent update helped a tiny bit
Hi Jordan , predatory endless spells don't have to be set 9 inch away from other predatory endless spells since they don't count as a unit in the hero phase you can look it up , hope this helps , have a good day!

When theres already a predatory spell on the table, you cant place another predatory spell because they are treated as unit for the purposes of setting up other units, and the second part is within the restrictions of setting up. So no, you cant set up within 9 of other predatory spells, it says nothing about phase for predatory, but instead about setting up, and this is setting up.

I don't understand why he went bodyguard on the furies and not priority target on one of the blocks of varangard feels like a missed opportunity for damage multiplication.
Theres a whole game of counter picking strategy with seasonal rules but the simplest reason is probably that Varanguards will usually mostly 1 shot everything they hit or hit them hard enough to render the enemy unit harmless. had he picked prio target on his varanguard he makes them more vulnerable to an opponent prio target getting into them
Although slaves lost I was impressed by how they did , but also loving these bone reapers , great battle guys , your channel is amazing myself and my boys love watching your channel please 🙏 keep going 💯👹

It's the begin of an index, many things need to be tweaked. Overall I must say there are many quality of life improvements. Not assigning wounds on single miniature and to have one player do his thing and then the other make the game much more enjoiable.

The varangard do a casual 39 damage on the charge. 😅 I have a lot of experience fighting those guys. They are nasty! So cool and elite though.

nagash loose his +2 to cast one the first double 1 occurence then can ignore the second one before taking damages

How was belakor +2 to cast most of the game? I get a +1 for place of power but the other im clueless?
The slaves to darkness terrain can give +1 to cast too by paying 3 points
