What size dump trailer would you recommend for a 2002 1500HD truck with a 8800 lb tow capacity? Do you have a location and brand you can recommend in GA?
Hey brother, I would recommend a utility trailer for you. They are great for those older 1500 gas trucks. A dump trailer will kill that truck if you tow daily unfortunately. The maximum size I'd go with would be a 6×12 if you're really set on a dump trailer due to how heavy they are empty. I buy my dump trailers from Florida since it's cheaper out there
@@JackofHaulTrades I've been looking at a telescoping 2800lb 7x12 trailer. 1500hd is like a 2500 truck with 8 lug wheels and a beefier frame than a standard 1500. I've pulled a 2000lb trailer every day with it for years now. Just not sure how big of a difference a 2800lb dump (empty) + vegetative waste like trees will feel on the truck fully loaded.
@basedclip okay that makes more sense 👍 sorry brotha I'm not too familiar with 1500 trucks but yeah 800 pounds is not a big difference at all, so you should be all good!!
The problem was that the weight never went over 2 tons so I couldn't charge more for that load either way. But putting the concrete back in my trailer saved me some money!
If you have a lot of rocks and concrete that could be money in the bank....check on a small rock crusher if it doesn't cost a lot to rent...crush the rock and concrete into gravel and sale it
i was always wondering if people called you to ask questions or just spam call you...DAMN!!! an elevator in a house now that's a 1st lol but them viking parts are big money!! like the bottom crisper drawers are like 200ish a piece and the door parts are good money. i sell stuff like that all the time
