    Hi Scott! I've been following your channel for a while now, and I have to say you produce great informative videos. Great job! I appreciate your honesty and I like the fact you present products and show us how they work for you in the real world.
    I encourage you to keep working hard at your RUclips channel, I'm sure it will keep growing. I myself started my RUclips channel just over a year ago and one of my main focuses is auto detailing (which I've been doing for over 20 years) and it's nice to see passionate people like you sharing their time and knowledge with their community online. I am passionate about my RUclips channel and it grew to over 23 000 subscribers and 2.6 million views in 14 months! So trust me, I know all the work you must put into these videos.
    Keep up the great work!!

    Griot's absolutely has the best packaging and reusable bottles in the business. Their products also tend to smell better than most.

    This is the only product I use. I switched from Meg's Quick Interior Detailer a couple of years ago. Plus, Griot's R&D chemists are top notch! They develop products that work very well!

    The other great part about It is it can be used on Navigation screens, instrument clusters, windows etc. and leaves no streaks. It really is a great product. I like that it doesn't leave a glossy finish just a clean new car look on dash and door panels.

    Very true! I just recently bought a 22oz bottle of griots interior cleaner and I love the bottle and sprayer! I just feels amazing! Looking forward to reusing the bottle. Great review! Looking forward to trying this product and watching more of your videos!

    I second this opinion. Yes the smell is very gentle and will not overwhelm the new car smell. But the best thing to me is that it makes the panels look matte not obnoxiously shiny. Just like new Matte and that’s exactly how I like it.

    Last review of several Griots vs Chemical Guys inside / interior cleaner that sold me on it over Chemical Guys (because it's less expensive AND smells "professional" unlike CG's Lysol-like / medicinal smelling cleaner). Cheers!

    Scott, so what I gather from this video and the previous video is, this is a two step process. Use the interior cleaner first then follow up with the interior detailer. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    • @1221Ralph
      @1221Ralph 7 лет назад

      Snide hmm that would defeat the purpose of a quick interior detailer.

    • @snide3
      @snide3 7 лет назад +3

      I have to disagree. If we use the cleaner to clean then hit with the detailer to give it that matte look, to me that makes sense.

    • @i95smuggler
      @i95smuggler 6 лет назад

      Snide I was told the Interior Cleaner is for the seats, carpets, roof upholstery. The Interior Detailer is for what Scott is showing us to use it on.

    • @marchufnagel9068

      Griot's does have a LOT of niche products. I learned that a ways back.

    • @UKSportsFan
      @UKSportsFan 5 лет назад +1

      @@i95smuggler ....GG Interior Cleaner safely cleans all interior fabrics and hard surfaces and can be used on all interior surfaces of the car, including carpets, floor mats, seats, fabrics, vinyl, headliners, door panels, and the dash.
      GG Interior Detailer is a quick interior cleaner that also adds UV protection and a small amount of shine behind. Think of it as kind of a hybrid between Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner and 303 Aerospace Protectant.

    Thanks again Scott for another great and informative video! In your opinion, does Griot's Garage Interior Detailer do well in regards to repelling dust? My new truck has a black interior and the door panels are like freakin' dust magnets. Drives me crazy! I purchased some Meguiars D155 Last Touch Spray Detailer but it smells a little too much like candy, which is fine for my other vehicles, but I'd like to preserve the new car smell of this one.

    I tried this today and have only used it once but the scuff marks on the plastic and the door came out! The Meguiars product didn't accomplish that and I thought I'd have to get an APC and the magic eraser after it. Nope! I like what I see after only one use.

    Do you still apply any dressing after that or does that give enough protection? Have you used the interior cleaner? what’s the difference? I’m looking for a new interior cleaner and dressing. I use CG inner clean and silk shine for the dressing protection.

    • @dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343
      @dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343  7 лет назад

      megs fast finish isn't a cleaner like the griots interior detailer...megs fast finish will protect the surface for longer but you have to clean the surface first..you have to decide whats more important to you in the moment..i see my clients cars once a month or every week so using griots interior detailer is just fine because the car isn't really dirty and the protection left behind is fine because i will be applying every month...hope that helps

    Honestly the smell is only tolerable in the winter bc in the summer it gives off this toxic smell. I love jay lenos interior detailer the most bc it smells like pina colada. second would be chemical guys in the yellow bottle bc it smells like bananas.

    Scott, i feel like im over thinking it but i just dont want to buy/use more products than needed. Just learning how to take care of my vehicle's the right way, all i used to use were the armour all cleaning wipes for past vehicles. Would i use the griots interior cleaner first then the interior detailer for the matte finish or just use a dressing? And for a really hammered car(one that hasnt been cleaned in say a year) just use super clean diluted and then the griots interior detailer?

  • @madwax1360

    Def will try it. I personally like Meg's quick interior, but man does it produce the "cough". Diluted ONR is great but like you said, slow flash. Cost wise ONR is the way to go. Meg's is a standby for no residue, I actually like the smell. The retail pricing on griots is a turn off. They should do a detailer line in gallons only to compete with the other big guys.
