Thank you for doing these tutorials. I appreciate all your effort and giving people a chance to get into tattooing since not everyone gets a chance to get an apprenticeship.
I have a peculiar problem in which my mentor says that I pack colour and do gradients very well, but my solid lines still need a lot of practice. Thank you so much for such an informative video! :)
Sir you mentioned needle depth is around 0.5 to 1.5. Can you please mentioned a example of body area/part mostly that 0.5 will be used. Advance thank you so much Sir
Wow, I tattooed a little like 12 years ago and watching this is so different of what I used to do. I guess I wasn’t so good hahaha, thank you so much for the level of detail you show in these tutorials, you are the best l, men! Hugs from Brazil!
Большое спасибо, вы не представляете, насколько важны ваши уроки. Я из России и недавно прошла обучение по татуировке, заплатила 1500$ , это обучение было очень бесполезно. Только благодаря вашим урокам у меня что-то стало получаться.
love these so much, thank you for sharing. been tattooing about a year but still love to learn from others and see if there’s any tips or mistakes i may be making😊
Very good advice!!! I just have a question, what is the minimum line thickness and separation between them in a tattoo so that the drawing is well preserved when it heals?
I like using the Reelskin practice skin, comes in a variety of skin tones from light to dark, recieved them in pounds so I can cut it to my desired size, always good contents and the explanation is simple for anyone to understand, great work brother🤘🏻
Bro nice tutorial very informative and helpful so clear explanation more blessings to come I'll use sharingan to copy all of that appreciated your greatness
I’m fairly certain the material you used to show how to start and stop a line the right way was clear ballistic gel. Like the same material used to shoot bullets into. I’ve watched a lot of those type videos on RUclips. Lol
Does sweating on the area of the tattoo cause blowouts? cuz I got a liquid line art tattoo my artist used 3RL also it didnt hurt much but after 3 days I saw some blow outs right in the thin lines part of the tattoo
You make great video's man. Can you maybe do a video about holding stability on a human? I mean, pulling a straight line on a fake skin wich lies comfortably flat on a desk is easy, but doing the same thing on a human, i found, is a lot more difficult.
I understand a “blowout” to be when the needle goes too deep, beyond the dermis layer and enters the subcutaneous layer allowing the ink to diffuse and spread. Holding the machine at an extreme lateral angle (4:25) would result in an even shallower depth. So I would say this angle causes an unintentional and malformed deviation from the stencil line, but not a blowout as I understand it to be.
I only started practicing today, so apologies if this is a super noob question, but when I use my 1205RM needle, it leaves individual skinny lines instead of one thick solid line, how do I fix this?
To fix the issue of skinny lines with your 1205RM needle, you probably need to ensure you're holding the machine at the right angle (around 45 degrees), applying enough pressure, and setting the needle at the correct depth. Also, make sure to stretch the skin properly and adjust your machine speed to match your hand movement.
Make sure your arm is stable, try not using your wrist when pulling a line. As the comment above check the wobble on your needles if you’re using cheaper cartridges. I highly recommend EZ cartridge for practice or actual skin. Good luck bro, hang in there

Can u do a video on tips to keep a steady hand
Nice
Is it true the needle hole has to always face away from you when tattooing??
Not necessarily, it should run the same direction as your line whether youre pushing or pulling the line
you used ballistic gel
Do artists like yourself tattoo themselves? I'm thinking it would be difficult.
I do. I must admit it’s not always easy

what can cause needle wobble?i anchor my hand stretch the skin and all of a sudden my needle goes left and right with no controll
U have cheap needles? Sometimes with the cheaper ones theres more space in the cardridge for the needle so it moves more..
