  • Hi Everyone. Welcome to my channel! In today's video, I give you a review of my 2015 Infiniti QX70 after 45K+ miles. This video will cover my QX70 after 45K miles in terms of reliability, things I notice; like wear n tear, and weird quirks. I mention the 3.7 liter V6 engine and work I recently had done to the brakes & rotors. I’ll discuss comments in one of my two previous QX70 videos, 5 Reasons I LOVE My 2015 Infiniti QX70.

    Awesome suv highly reliable, with rountine maintenance, I have seen these Infiniti's with 200,000 or 300,000 miles on the odometer. People have to understand all cars need maintenance just because the vehicle comes from the manufacturer with reliable ratings to keep that going you have to change all fluid in the vehicle engine. 1. Oil 2. Transmission Fluid 3. Radiator Fluid 4. Differential Fluid 5. Brake Fluid 6. Power Steering Fluid. 6 Brake pads like in this video resurfaced your rotors. 7. After 5 years Tires. Wheel Alignments when necessary. 8. Rotate tires every oil change so they can wear properly 9. 100k miles service fuel filter 10. Spark plugs for most 100k miles service 11. Battery when needed 12. Alternator with high mileage 13. Air conditioner recharged or serviced. 14. Filters changed Cabin filter Engine air filter when needed. Repeat this process over again. Car would last 15 to 25 years easily avoid terrible roads with deep pot holes. Detail the vehicle interior and exterior.

    Just bought a pre owned 2011 Infiniti FX35 with at the time about 184,000 on it. I love it. I have owned Nissan products for the past 20 years and only traded for something different. Never had any major repairs. I had no hesitation with mileage on it and being 12 years old. Had to replace power rack and pinion steering system as was slightly seeping. But knew that from comprehensive multi point before I chose to purchase it. I can't tell on reliability as only owned for less than two months but it drives, feels and looks like it only has 2 years of wear and tear. Superb quality. It's a keeper for me. Love the VQ series engines. I can tell it will be very reliable at least from the one I picked as I believe previous owner took well care of it from initial impressions.

    I purchased a 2003 fx 45 in 2012 with 118,000 miles on it. At the time I didn't know anything about Infiniti's. In 2018 I purchased a 2015 Mercedes E 350 coupe. I gave the fx 45 to My Mom. Its 2020 now. The Infiniti is a way better vehicle than the Mercedes. I'm selling the Benz. The Infiniti is the best car I've owned. I've owned many car from BMW to Buicks, Oldsmobiles. Hands down it's the best. The Mercedes is the Worst. Even the old Infinitis last.

    • @orlandojacinto1
      @orlandojacinto1  4 года назад +4

      jacques55119 Interesting. I know a number of people that have owned BMWs and Mercedes that have said the same thing. Like many other manufacturers, Infiniti has there issues but each time I considered buying an Audi, BMW, or Mercedes I always go with either Lexus or Infiniti based on low maintenance cost and more importantly reliability. Thanks, I’ll be making more QX70 videos to give everyone updates on what the ownership experience is like.

    Great review. I have 33,000 miles on my 2017 QX70. So, as expected, I haven’t had any issues at all. I love the solid feel to include fit and finish. Additionally, the SUV is extremely comfortable and fun to drive. I recently drove across country with two dogs and a full load and it was a blast.
    My wife’s 2021 Audi Q7 is far more expensive and has a more cushioned drive especially over bumps. However, I couldn’t be happier with my 2017 QX70 that I purchased as a CPO with 9,090 miles on it.

    Tried very hard to find one that's reasonable priced in MA early last year, but couldn't (either over-priced or gone too fast). So end up buying a 2015 4runner limited. (I know it is quite different from QX70, but I do like cars that are slightly special.) But I do get the chance to test drive a expensive QX70 from dealer, feels so different and fast compared to my other cars before. Hopefully someday, Infinity could bring QX70 back. BTW, nice video and thanks for the response!

    I have a 17’ QX70 S. Just turned 60 K no problems. I have done some upgrades to my car. I’m running a ARK exhaust and upgraded drop in AEM air filters. I had all the chrome wrapped in gloss black. If you want pics let me know. My car is daily driven. And this is my 3rd FX had a 03’ 35 , 07’ 35 and now the QX 70 S. The one thing I hate about my car is the transmission shifts into high gear way to soon. I also noticed some hesitation when in auto mode and you give it gas. Takes to long to downshift. I never had this problem in the earlier models. Infiniti said it’s for gas mileage. I feel that since I purchased a S model I should’ve got the up graded big red brakes. My car is also missing the blind spot warning which is rediculous in a $60k car ( I didn’t pay anywhere near that). I got my car preowned with 7800 mi. Otherwise I love the look and color. Gun metal with BLK accents.

    • @orlandojacinto1
      @orlandojacinto1  3 года назад

      The ARK exhaust sounds really good. Someone in my hometown has the same gun metal color with black accents as yours. I notice the hesitation in auto mode as well. Yeah it’s weird that Infiniti did not include the red brake calipers in the S model? You have the purple stitching on the steering wheel and seats, right?...it contrast well against the graphite interior. Overall I couldn’t be more happy with my QX70.

    • @philipklipper5585

    • @orlandojacinto1
      @orlandojacinto1  3 года назад

      Like other car manufacturers, Infiniti refreshes the wheels and front bumper at least once during a car’s lifecycle. I like the wheels on the FX50 as well, but it can be a rough ride due to low profile tires especially if the road is rough, you feel every road imperfection. With that said... Yes, Infiniti sells the FX50 wheels but you probably can buy it cheaper somewhere else.

    I owned a FX37S high end model for more than 7 years. This car is very reliable. Except the dashboard quality is sucks. It cracked very badly. I have to rewrap the entire dashboard. Which will cost me a bomb if I get the original brand new dashboard.
    Also watch out the Sports Coilover if you have the Sports Mode. It is very costly.
    Also watch out all the rubber bushes undercarriage. I have replaced the entire car rubber bushes from front to back. Now the car ride is much more stable like brand new.
    Also I have swapped the speedometer to the latest QX70S model too. As well as the front facelift grille and bumper. I also added the front top stabilizer Strut Bar and rear roof spoiler and Bodykit.
