    The reason you have such large side mirrors is so that you can see what's behind you due to your #2 reason, poor visibility from interior. I for one, rarely use the center mirror, only the side mirrors and would welcome real sized side mirrors. Time to test drive a QX70 :D

    Hello, what’s the most expensive parts you should have to replace about the QX70? I’m trying to decide whether or not to replace car or pay for the catalytic converters. I already replaced transmission.

    • @orlandojacinto1
      @orlandojacinto1  3 года назад

      The subframe is the most expensive so far. Subframe was replaced at a cost of $678...that was just the labor and rear diff fluid replacement. The actual price for the subframe is around $1,400 and labor was an extra 2K from the dealer. The bushing around the center diff mount was blown, fluid silicon was all over the rear differential cover. I paid only $678 since Infiniti applied a goodwill customer loyalty b/c I was only a few miles over the warranty. I would check an Infiniti forum to find out what FX/QX owners are saying. Replaced transmission and converters already?...At how many miles?

    The one thing I hated and made me go to Lexus ...my 2009 Fx35 never evolved !! Wanted a new one but the body style and interior never changed! Still looks the same and we are in 2020 now... How much longer until they decide to change the body style is becoming obsolete....

    • @orlandojacinto1
      @orlandojacinto1  4 года назад +1

      2017 was the last year of the QX70 (FX). I think Infiniti played it safe the last few years, it cost them sales. The QX55 will have an updated interior and some FX styling, but they are using the same or variant of the QX50 variable compression engine. Checkout the QX60 Monograph it gives you an idea where Infiniti is headed in terms of styling. -I think it's step in the right direction.

    Those large side mirrors and thick A pillars abstract visibility very bad. Also the blind spot I had to check it extra to make sure there’s no car or motorcycle. another thing I hate is the screen quality of the infotainment, I can kinda live with outdated software but resolution is really bad and same on these till 2018 maybe was the last year. Also no place to put ur phone anywhere if the cup holders are in-use.

    • @orlandojacinto1

  • @davidtersero7068
    @davidtersero7068 4 года назад

    So you’re complaining about the side view mirrors requiring you to scoot your seat up higher but really it’s the enclosure? Something you don’t even need to see in order to make turns? And the low fan setting HAS to be your filters, I’ve never had any issues feeling the heat or cooling from either seats. Also, you didn’t check that before you tried to tarnish Infiniti’s crossover brand? Get outta here sir.

    Wow can’t say I really agree with any of those. My three things are 1) The gap between the front seats and the center console. You drop something and it enters the black hole abyss and you won’t find it unless you get out and move the seats forward. 2) There is a pulley that is very low and if you run through some puddles, the belt will get wet and it starts to squeek. 3) The cup holders in the front do not hold beverages very well and when you turn they will go sideways and fall out.

    • @orlandojacinto1
      @orlandojacinto1  3 года назад

      I've dropped a few cards into the gap, it's pain taking them out. I'll listen for the squeak. The cup holders hold most beverages fine, but know what you mean about the design.

    The number one thing I would hate about it is the fact I chose the slower lower end 3.7 v6 over the faster and better 5.0 v8. How do you even sleep at night? Do you purchase lower end trims on everything and you're just okay with it?
