I've been watching all of your videos, just purchased a 3 pack of CTD TruCut and as Im waiting for the pads to arrive by mail, here you are demonstrating how to sand the ball with my exact bowling ball I primarily use, Brunswicks Quantum forest green solid. I love this bowling ball and I cant wait for these pads to arrive.
Just got my package of True Cut pads today. Used them on one of my favorite balls (Motive Forge) and I must say, they made the ball look almost brand new. I cant wait to throw it wednesday to see what kind of scores I'm going to get

I do it on my Bowling Ball Spinner...Sand 1 half the ball on a timer for like 1min...then when it goes off...stop...flip and do the other side for 1 min...can't wait to try the Polishing pad!! Really needed that extra shiny surface last night...ball was overhooking too much....

Question. I had seen another video on sanding bowling balls. It was suggested to either wet the pad or wet the bowling ball before sanding. This will decrease the dust that comes from sanding because the dust stuck to the pad, can make the ball shiny instead of dull. If this is true, why sand a dry ball?

If I want to resurface a ball and have the finished surface at 1500 grit. Can I use a 500 grit pad or do I go down to 360 and then 500. Can I go from 500 straight to 1500? Frank
The Light. ALWAYS has to be right in front of your nose. Make sure your nose points to your light source. Or 23 degree angle at most so that the shadow cast I your jaw line. Not happy with tha lighting because it Didn't match tha Godlike Product yea ya ya love godlike yea ya ya :D

Will your so fresh life extender product bring it back to life. Keep in mind that I have not use this ball in well over a year and a half. Thnx
I was under the impression that if I used the 500g that my ball would hook better on oil. So I bought the pad pack. And it killed my ball. So how would I go back to factory. It's a older ball icon2
I would go back through all of the steps 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000 if you are doing it by hand including P5000D and then finish with TruCut Hand Applied Polish. To get the ball back to the polished state.
your explanation of "how to sand" in this video, is quite a bit different from your video entitled "sanding direction". IE. going in circles on this video and in the "track" direction on the other video. Hmmmmm ?????
The video where we show track direction is an advanced technique. We use sanding direction to change performance This method here is more basic but does get the ball to the right grit.

@@Ctdbowling for starters all dust at that grit level is bad for you to inhale. Pro shop owners have died from asbestos poisoning in balls, and whether or not new balls are made this way, plastic is also not good to inhale.

I have the needed sanding pads for each bowling ball I have. I wrote the grit and what bowling ball it is for with a sharpie.

I would suggest having it resurfaced then use So Fresh and So Clean to bring it back.
I like these products but was curious why you dont have a 4000 pad ?
P5000D by hand is 4000 grit and on a spinner it's 5000 grit.

do not just "bang the pad" that dust is super toxic. Wash with water and let dry.
