I just watched video with a similar title from 3 years ago…the process has changed…are both viable? Or ignore the one from 3 years ago? What’s the major difference in the two processes? Also, what brand ball spinner are you using?
id say try using a sanding cup attachment and put it on a drill. closest youll be able to get by "hand". i use it personally because i dont have the room for a ball spinner in my apartment.
Okay... couple of comments... first, you didn't clean the ball after you sanded it 😂. That Life After Death would've been good. Secondly, in a previous video, you stated we had to sand up 1500, 2000, 3000, 5000Pd and then polish. So we don't have to do that anymore?
From what I understand. This video is specifically for the "1500 Grit Polish" finish. That finish is different than the 5500+ Grit finish which would involve going up from 1500 - 5000PD pads
this is to replicate Storm's 1500 grit polished. so a slightly aggressive surface with a shiny look. so it's not truly polished it's like when rocks are wet. the polish is making the rougher surface glossy.
@@Ctdbowling ruclips.net/video/ej5hSL6d4rs/видео.html If you forward to about the 2:00 mark, you mention using the 3000 pad and then go to the 5500 polish over the top of it.
I saw this too. In the previous video you polish a trend 2 by sanding with a 3000 grit pad then polish it. To me 1500 grit then polish makes more sense to keep the teeth under the polished finish
Yet another ctd video with false claims and information. There is zero evidence that your expensive single purpose polishing pad is any better than my Terry towels I’ve used for years. The polish does the work, not the applicator. And this is not the storm “1500 grit polished”. Storm specifically tells you how to replicate it…500 1000 2000 4000 step 2 compound. Another video with the purpose of hocking expensive unnecessary products.
Storm tells you how to replicate it using their products. This video tells you how to replicate it using CTD products. Simple concept really. Oh and Storm changed how they say to replicate it. Your data from years ago is now outdated although it still works. Storm Step 2 compound is on national back order. Given Storm has stopped using it they probably won’t continue to offer it either. I’m still not sure if they polishing pad Turtle Wax developed for the polish is any better than any other high quality polishing pad but they all beat using terry cloth towels. Easier, less product needed and a better shine. Just
@@williamfreitas7016 but Storm 1500 polished is NOT just a 1500 pad and polish and never has been. This is not replicating anything. It’s showing a 1500 trucut with polish, which is not the title. Plus he uses a ton of polish and takes just as long…doesn’t look any better than any other polished ball on a spinner with any towel.
@@drinkmilk15 correct, it never has been using Abralon pads and Storm’s compound. This method was found to be the best as recreating the factory reaction using this company’s products. To say the Storm way is just as fast is inaccurate. The Storm method as listed is 7 minutes. That’s longer than this entire video. Adding polish to a lower grit will always result in less refraction of light (shine) no matter whose product is used.

I need to redo one also. I have a spinner. So its 1 pad then polish to take it to 1500 grit polish factory finished
How do we accomplish this by hand? Also can you do a demonstration on the new storm 4K?

Ronald just posted a video on how to polish by hand. For the 4K fast, use 2000, 3000 then p5000d by hand to get you to the 4K finish.
wish to have that ball spinner
With my hyroad x i do 1500 /3000/p5000d trucut by hand and it looks identical to out of box finish.
Ron about how many times can you use same pad ?

So wait a sec. On a previous video, you take the ball to 3000 before using the polish but now you are saying to use 1500?
Post the previous video you are referring to here please

We need Cheaper Options for ball spinners for real..... 👀👀👀
