So, if i remember correctly, Johnny Blaze, as well as any who have been Ghost Rider, do share their body with another entity that is "The Rider." In the comics, it has been so many variants, Zarathos, Noble Kale, etc, but the idea is that the host can weild the power of the Rider, like skull form and all, but will not be able to weild the full extent of the Rider's power, which is like, godly celestial power, unless full control has been surrendered to the Rider spirit, so when the skull is turned on it is possible for it be him or the spirit, either or.

18:23 I like the Nicolas Cage and the writing showed that the Rider's persona inches its way into Johnny's personality and behavior the closer he gets in the presence of evil until he pops.
The funny thing is despite the first film being a much better filmed, acted, edited, and directed film, this one still feels better because it actually uses and embraces the ghost rider character. Also, this movie is so wild that it kinda goes full circle to being hilarious whereas the first movie is kinda dull and anytime they start to do something cool they cut it off too soon.
I love your guy's reaction to Ghostrider spirit of engines for months since you saw the 1st one I loved your laughing reaction the most❤❤ also i was Ghost Rider for Halloween once i still have the costume💀🔥🏍
Blade 3. Hellboy, you guys should give the Hellboy movies a shot. I dug all 3 but especially the first two. Renfield ,Mandy and Willy's Wonderland for more Nick Cage awesomeness .
This movie isn't technically a sequel to the first film. They wanted to do things differently for the second one. It's more of a spiritual sequel to the first.
20:54 This is where his over the top acting works, and that this demon that possesses him is not normal at all. It's manic, it's insane, and likes to mess with him as he's emerging. A quick close-ups and sped up camera gives off that paranormal activity vibe; this is a possessing spirit that is not in the least human and all the way crazy.
Marvel Knights was meant to be the mini line of movies that depicted the darker side of Marvel heroes. The only films to come from this small brand were this and Punisher: War Zone (2008).
I mean theoretically, if the alcohol content is high enough to continously kill any bacterias, and if it's stored properly, like air tight bottle that doesn't let sunlight hit it (Sunlight can turn flavors in any alcohol) you could theoretically drink it. I don't know if it would taste good, or what, but you could. If it's exposed and air is touching it and germs and all that, you could still drink it maybe if the alocohol content is high enough, however it would taste like vinegar, as the alcohol would definitely kill any bacterias and germs, but it would sour the tannens and flavor.
The one in Agents of SHIELD was the Robbie Reyes-version, a latino guy who drives a car. The Johnny Blaze-version did make a cameo in one episode of AOS when the Reyes version showed up, but only in his Ghost Rider form, there was no well known name playing him. This movie looked better and even the design of Ghost Rider looked so much more bad ass, plus Cage doesn't have an obvious wig this time, but the problem is the writing. The plot is not bad, but it's kinda weak and the writing makes this movie not that great.
The more erratic behavior of both Johnny and the Rider were meant to lean more into the possessed aspect of the character. The Rider acts more "demonic" in this one.
Ppl don't pay attention he's gets darker as time go on n the point was that he turns back to the spirit of justice n ppl jus don't have common sense n nobody is pointing this out
Turning that giant excavator to a demon ride was a pretty cool moment. But in the comics, each rider is limited only to one ride, except for the most powerful ghost rider, the All-Rider.
No. All Ghost Riders can turn anything into their personal ride. Johnny Blaze, in his current ongoing series, possessed a truck, a train, and a police car. Alejandra, while she rode on her bike, possessed a Japanese bullet train during her run. While Robbie showcased possessing a lot of cool stuff, from a simple tractor to riding on the Silver Surfer's board, the All-Rider hasn't shown anything that a regular Ghost Rider can't do other than controlling symbiote. Correct me if Robbie's done anything extraordinary that we've not seen the other Riders do.
@@andrejamena4262 What's the point of the All-Rider then? 🤣 I'm not being sarcastic. I'm genuinely curious, because I honestly don't know much about the recent lore. I just came across this one issue where they were hyping Robbie up like "he could do what no other ghost rider could" and "he is the perfection of being a ghost rider." (Not direct quotes, just sorta laying out what they implied.) On the extraordinary side, he did use a whole planet as his demon ride. That's pretty nifty.
@@ianrosenbalm6555 The All-Rider is an Omniversal Spirit of Vengeance, and Robbie in the main Marvel timeline is the only one that became a Ghost Rider...even though there are alternative universes where Robbie became a Rider(What if? and Venomverse). Personally, it's a case of "cool idea, poor execution." And yes, Robbie possessed a planet. It was from an alternate universe called Doom the Living Planet. I re-read the comic and, while it said that it was his ride, he actually reconstituted the remains(because it was dead apparently. I don't exactly known about that one haha) and use it to plug a hole in a dimension. So, it's more like he use it as a cork.
30:08 this is an iteration of a character that appeared in the 1990s ghost rider series. He's called Blackout. Although the source material has him able to cause instant darkness, he's more vampiric and was born a demon.
Kacee that’s how javelin works, when locked on target you fire it then first tge rocket travels high up for last to go down to target. Anthony yeah the priest is christopher lambert you know him from mortal kombat movie
Pre MCU movies to check out: Howard the Duck (1986), The Punisher (1989), Daredevil (2003), Hulk (2003), Fantastic Four (2005), and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Nic Cage's crazy antics makes sense if you consider the rider has been with him a while already.
Id LOVE to see a M rated Ghost Rider movie, there is too much untapped potential here. Is like Deadpool in a way man, you gotta make it DARK, with a touch of comedy if u want. But imagine a big budget GR movie where he does creepy horrory stuff like in his battles like with those uncanny short warps and the swinging, having a blast burning people alive, holy shit
Dude, Ghost Rider in Agents of Shiled was amazing. Watch some summary of that season because it is worth it. Gabriel Luna did great job. Shame we didn't have some spin-off to his performance in Agents...
Its not the greatest movie when it comes to the plot and characters. But for me personally, at least from what i remember, nic cage and the rider sequences largely make up for it with how wild they are
In the Marvel comics, "Marvel Knights" was the comic book equivalent of TV-MA TV shows. Titles like "Ghost Rider", "The Punisher", and others could go somewhat "darker" and "mature" than the titles under the regular Marvel imprint.
Look at what they did with Matt Murdoch in She Hulk though lol, that should tell you all you need to know of how they'll approach Daredevil and the amount of "Respect" they'll give him. Like sure that was one outing for "comic" relief, and they did ok in No Way Home with Matt, but really that's 1 pretty good thing, and one pretty bad thing so at this point it's 50/50 what they'll do.
"Ghost Rider The Way of Water." Hey, not bad. In comic version, Blackout is different, he's like vampiric-demon kind of villain. Speaking of this zombified one, well, he can rot anything as long as he put the pressure on the things he touch.
If you want ideas for other comic book movies to try. I recommend Darkman with Liam Neeson. I found out later that he is actually a Marvel character. Another good one is Mystery Men. That movie is hilarious and has a fantastic cast.
Blaze has the soul of a fallen angel inside him, when night falls, Johnny's soul takes a back seat while the.angel takes over. I want to see what he does to a Lamborghini Aventador. Some things rot slower than organic, others like plastic takes forever to rot.
If they reboot Ghost Rider (not that Marvels worth anything any more) they should focus on Danny Ketch and set it in the 90’s just like when Danny was first introduced. Danny is Johnnys estranged younger half brother in Marvel and became ghost rider when he and their sister were ambushed at a junkyard by… well ninjas.😂 Not the same Danny in this movie at all, they probably just used his name for some soft connection in this film. Danny’s the Ghost Rider who’s responsible for the modern biker look that’s synonymous with the character, where as Johnny just wore his Stunt cycle suit as the rider. Super cool.
Well, if you're looking for pre-MCU Marvel movies, don't forget about the 2003 Hulk movie, with Eric Banna and Nick Nolte. Marvel Knights was an idea to use the darker, more violent characters of Marvel in an Avengers/Defenders style team-up movie...it got scrapped when most of the early Marvel movies (mainly the darker ones) bombed at the box office. Mephisto is short for Mephistopheles...Marvel used the shorter name cause DC already had use of the full name in their comics. 36:15 Dunno if anybody ever tried drinking it, but they've recovered bottles of wine from shipwrecks in the Mediterranean dating back to Ancient Greece...pretty sure it's closer to a vinegar than a wine by this point, but I guess you could find a way to water it down enough to restore it to some semblance of a drinkable wine again (ancient Greeks and Romans both traditionally watered down their wine to begin with; wine was cheap and it was an easy way to purify their water).
The GR from Agents of Shield was Robbie Reyes. His origin was changed in the show to where Johnny stumbled upon Robbie after he crashed his car. Johnny gave Robbie the power to save his life. Robbie is dope. He drives a Charger instead of a motorcycle, and his trunk is a portal to hell. Only thing I don’t like about his version is that his skull is chrome and has a kind of robotic look to it.
Im curious to why they chose this actor at 3:30 to play another character when he's character was heimdall and ghost rider is technically in the mcu universe

You should react to agents of shield ghost rider next. There they have shown the true potential of him. He is powerful enough to defeat the Avengers and he has killed them all in comics. P.s there is nothing you can do if he burns you with his hell fire. Literally no magic can heal the burn
I watched the Robbie eye as ghost rider in agent shield season 4 . He is so weak. Not power ful at Jhonny blaze. Bro in comics Jhonny blaze ki ghost rider defeat Avengers and others . Not Robbie eye 😂. Jhonny blaze is better ghost rider in Sony made in movies and comic .
In agent shield first episode Jhonny blaze ki refrence. Jhonny blaze ki power to give Robbie eye 👀😂. Jhonny blaze can defeat Robbie eye. And Robbie eye not use his full power in series. But the true potential used in comic as Nicolas Cage is ghost rider bro . Not compared him to Robbie eye
Heck, if you watch this movie, you have to watch the two Crank films, starring Jason Statham and from the same directors. They are largely why this film got made, and those movies are absolute bonkers!

The rider is a completely different entity. Equivalent in power with mephisto but held back by Johnny you almost never really see his full power
The twinkie didn't decay because of the plastic surrounding it...Plastic doesn't decay(as fast as everything else) which is why it's so bad for the environment. Shocked ya'll missed that.
Pretty sure the joke is "Twinkies can survive the apocalypse".
I just thought it was the gloves he's wearing correct me if I'm wrong but he doesn't change any article of clothing he is in the clothes he died in my thinking is the devil when giving him his power of decay made it so he doesn't rot away his own clothes he died in
My personal recommendations for comicbook movies:
CONSTANTINE, HELL BOY (Ron Perlman), THE LOSERS, SIN CITY (2005 & 2014)
Marvel knights is a comic series that was written by Kevin smith he did some good daredevil comics dare veil comics are the most consistent marvel comics to be honest. The current arc is great Matts in prison , kingpin etc etc very good
the ghost rider movies with the daredevil and electra movies along with the fantastic 4 ones too feel like their own little throwbacks to the 70s marvel movies, like captain america and doctor strange : P
28:06 COSMIC GHOST RIDER IN SPACE! 😂
An Involuntary comedy 😂😂 I'm waiting for you to react The Punisher series. So brutal not just talking bout the fights. The background of that Frank is so sad and constantly biting him. Luvu ❤️❤️❤️
(At 29:45) Blackout was supposed to be some kind of a vampire, not a comic-book Shigaraki rip-off.
If anything, then Shigaraki was a rip-off as BNHA manga debuted in 2014
18:23 I like the Nicolas Cage and the writing showed that the Rider's persona inches its way into Johnny's personality and behavior the closer he gets in the presence of evil until he pops.
(At 24:06) he just haunted that bulldozer machine
(At 34:09) Raiden from _Mortal Kombat (1995)_ and Connor MacLeod from _Highlander (1986)_
In a way, the first film is about Johnny becoming the Ghost Rider. The second film might be about Johnny working with the ghost rider.
27:49 Well that, and he also threw up a river of lava after taking a mouth full of bullets lol
Btw there is a Space Ghost Rider......he is called "Cosmic Ghost Rider"
The one in Agents of SHIELD was the Robbie Reyes-version, a latino guy who drives a car. The Johnny Blaze-version did make a cameo in one episode of AOS when the Reyes version showed up, but only in his Ghost Rider form, there was no well known name playing him.
This movie looked better and even the design of Ghost Rider looked so much more bad ass, plus Cage doesn't have an obvious wig this time, but the problem is the writing. The plot is not bad, but it's kinda weak and the writing makes this movie not that great.
Gabriel Luna.
@@johnsantos507 Yes. Thank you, forgot his name.
@@JW666 You're welcome.
😂😂yall talked thru all the exposition and was like “wats going on” lol love yall tho
I'm not being sarcastic. I'm genuinely curious, because I honestly don't know much about the recent lore. I just came across this one issue where they were hyping Robbie up like "he could do what no other ghost rider could" and "he is the perfection of being a ghost rider." (Not direct quotes, just sorta laying out what they implied.)
On the extraordinary side, he did use a whole planet as his demon ride.
Personally, it's a case of "cool idea, poor execution."
And yes, Robbie possessed a planet.
Why the hell would they watch a small part of a show?
@@TheReDeeMeR1988 Just to have the grasp of other Ghost Rider.
Its not the greatest movie when it comes to the plot and characters. But for me personally, at least from what i remember, nic cage and the rider sequences largely make up for it with how wild they are
Idris Elba wasn’t bad either but yeah the plot is pretty weak and forgettable
Yes I did go and see this at the cinema my Dad had a Newsagents so I read all the comics,Nicholas Cage performance is really off the chain here.
"Ghost Rider The Way of Water."
Hey, not bad.
I only wish the movie was longer and it had more GR scenes and see the angel rider in action.
Blaze has the soul of a fallen angel inside him, when night falls, Johnny's soul takes a back seat while the.angel takes over. I want to see what he does to a Lamborghini Aventador. Some things rot slower than organic, others like plastic takes forever to rot.
I loved this movie, i will never get tired of seeing Nick Cage Nick Caging. No one will ever be a better ghost rider than that man
For other riders, they have some control, but with Blaze, Zarathos has complete control, Blaze just keeps him from going all out.
If they reboot Ghost Rider (not that Marvels worth anything any more) they should focus on Danny Ketch and set it in the 90’s just like when Danny was first introduced.
Danny is Johnnys estranged younger half brother in Marvel and became ghost rider when he and their sister were ambushed at a junkyard by… well ninjas.😂
Not the same Danny in this movie at all, they probably just used his name for some soft connection in this film.
Danny’s the Ghost Rider who’s responsible for the modern biker look that’s synonymous with the character, where as Johnny just wore his Stunt cycle suit as the rider. Super cool.
Btw there’s a 1.7k year old wine that’s (incredibly) still drinkable, though i doubt very much it would taste good or taste like wine at all
Well, if you're looking for pre-MCU Marvel movies, don't forget about the 2003 Hulk movie, with Eric Banna and Nick Nolte.
This movie and Drive Angry are peak "wtf Nic Cage" movies.
Ghost Rider: The Wave Rider
Don't remember this movie at all.
But it's nice seeing you guys react to it
the psychotic comedy of nick cage is what makes his ghost rider the best. cause the ghost rider spirit imo is a psychotic hilarious corrupted spirit so his portrayal was just A1🙌🏽🙌🏽
If the MCU does a reboot for the Ghost Rider character it needs to be a more serious portrayal man
Ghost rider look way better in this movie and cage once again knows how to nail the crazy eyes also you guys should watch Renfield Nicolas Cage plays Dracula and he is having the time of his life in it
He’s not a lot of peoples favorite but I’m here for any Nic Cage movie, lol. I’m usually entertained.
He also played the Highlander, there can be only one! 😁
The guys that did this movie did Crank with Jason Statham, you should totally watch that movie too if you haven't.
We’ve seen it! Maybe that’s why we liked this one so much 😂
@@DosCavazos Check out the sequel too lol
@@DosCavazos Too bad no reaction for Crank though🙁🙂, it is an awesome movie. Have you seen Hardcore Henry? It has the same level of craziness.
Yes watch punisher warzone…it’s underrated, personally not as good as the first one but still a fun movie
After reading the first few pages of the script for Ghost Rider 2, Peter Fonda turned it down, which is why he isn't playing the devil in this one.
I thought he passed away before and was recasted?
I hope they are going to Punisher: War Zone. I love that movie since I was a kid.
Heck, if you watch this movie, you have to watch the two Crank films, starring Jason Statham and from the same directors. They are largely why this film got made, and those movies are absolute bonkers!
