It always amazes me when the victims family are desperate to have SOMEONE put away, instead of wanting the undeniable CORRECT person put away. Of course it’s difficult in this case when it’s the dirty cops who the guilty party.
I’ve often wondered their position after hearing the “evidence”. Do we know if they still feel Karen is guilty?
I understand why they believed it right from the start, and such fervent belief is hard change. It's sad, but it's human nature. You and I would probably think the same in their situation.

WOW- 1) Judge upheld 2d murder charge despite no evidence of intent to kill & 2) refused to give spot-on Bowden instruction about “Omissions in Police Investigations.” Once again clearly abusing discretion in favor of prosecution & ensuring any conviction, however unlikely, is sure to be reversed on appeal.
I have been blown away by this behavior. The state and this lady have been locking people away left and right working together like this to manipulate the law to trick jury members and laypeople...it's disgusting. I hope she gets fired...the governor needs voted out. It's criminal

Absolutely! It’s also a must. It gives attorneys a chance to argue, instructions to the jury and object to something the judge did during the trial. It also gives council and state the laws the judge has set forth. You can’t do whatever you want in closing arguments.

They are usually way less biased...she's actually sped through it like her and lolly had a plan for weeks how they turn this and make it difficult for the defense despite the weak case of the commonwealth

Defendants have every right to be present at sidebar. Most don't and just let their lawyer tell them what was discussed. But she has the legal right to go to any sidebar

25:30 Consciousness of Guilt for the defendant is ridiculous. Every single issue brought up by the prosecution is a FAR REACH and is absurd. Compared to police officers disposing of their phones after being told to TURN THEM OVER FOR EVIDENCE is much more severe.
If I were a juror, seeing the back and forth, and the seeming confusion and lack of credibility, I would focus on the digital evidence, the time stamps documented on the digital evidence (ie, dash cam), and their (Karen Reed's and John O'Keefe's) phones and fit bit thing. Pros made good summary of consciousness of guilt- how quickly she moved to get her stuff out of JO's house and move her car is interesting. When you are mourning, you don't care about familial strategies. You are mourning.
All of the evidence you listed shows she didn't do it. And they aren't married...she has her own house...why would she not get her things as the home of John is no longer her right to be in. She would need to get her things so the family can go through his stuff... correct?

If I were on the jury I would want to know how Reed’s lawyers brought the FBI ???? Next, why did the prosecutor not bring the evidence that she told her father- I hit something??? I served on two murder trial juries over the years (one a Federal hit-man case and another a state (CT) murder case, both of which resulted in guilty verdicts and I am shocked by this Read case. The case by the prosecution has more holes in it than a giant sea sponge. The evidence against Read is essentially non-existent. There is, however, a lot of circumstantial evidence pointing to a cover-up. A not guilty verdict will be reached by the jury very quickly.

27:27 Playing Devil's Advocate here: what does "I only have to remember the bad times. You'll likely never hear from me again." even mean~? How does it relate to 'consciousness of guilt'~? Because to me it 'may' mean "well, if I only remember the bad times, I won't have to be heartbroken over his death" with no indication of how he died. Certainly there's no obvious meaning.
