1943, the Great Patriotic War, territory of Belarus. The 16-year-old boy Flera, having dug out a carbine among scraps of barbed wire, rusty machine-gun belts and shot-through helmets, goes into the forest to join the ranks of the partisans.
This film, like no other, shows the tragedy of a child on a battlefield. At the beginning of the picture Flera is just a teenager. But In the end, having gone through horror and fear, child becomes an adult, frighteningly adult - his face is distorted by senile wrinkles, and there is no room for love in his soul...

Самый страшный фильм моего советского детства. Нашла в себе силы пересмотреть только спустя много лет.
Я не смотрела и не могу смотреть
Помню отменили уроки, посадили в автобусы и отвезли в кинотеатр на просмотр. Так же помню когда после просмотра вышел на улицу, оглянул округу и все казалось знакомым глазу, но и вообще не таким. Спокойным, безопасным и оттого нереальным каким-то.. Не помню, как довезли до школы..
А я так и не могу пересмотреть.. Даже думать страшно.

I have watched it at night before and the nightmares were incredible, my nightmares timeline takes place just 4 days after I died and a grieving Floyra really struggles to cope with my death until my last words to Florya was heard in his mind as of if I was telling him to keep going. There will be a really emotional scene where Florya visits my grave one last time and he literally repeats what I said before I died but then Florya is interrupted by Glasha and he loses it again. It’s gut wrenching to see Floyra really hurting and everyone interrupts his grieving process, I wish Florya could get a break

If you go to the Channel's "playlist" and scroll down, you'll find it. Its English title is "Come and See". The flim depicted the horror of the Nazis' crimes (not only the German Nazis' but all Nazis' crimes) in Belarus very realistically, therefore it was horrific for me to watch it.
