  • Your putter is working against you! L.A.B. Golf CEO Sam Hahn explains why conventional putters are causing golfers to miss more putts than they should.
    He uses The Revealer to show the different ways putters with toe hang and face balance are trying to twist during the stroke... and how L.A.B. Golf putters solve the issue thanks to Lie Angle Balance Technology.

    "Super duper awesome for sky putting." That's hysterical.
    I used a DF 2.1 the last two years and just bought a Mezz Max broomstick. Love the brand. Love the product. Really happy to see all the success LAB has been having over the last 12 months.

    Hey Sam - just bought a DF3 and truly believe it’s going to change the game. I’ve searched RUclips, and what would be really helpful is more videos and tutorials on how to get used to the new stroke and drills we can do to help “un-torque”. Very much appreciated!

    I recently came across LAB Golf and I have to say, their putters are truly one-of-a-kind! I've been researching LAB Golf for the last nine months and haven't pulled the trigger yet. I am still using a blade putter at the moment. The technology they use is truly innovative and I can't wait to try out one of their putters for myself. It's great to see a company like LAB Golf pushing the boundaries and creating such high-quality products. I'm definitely going to be getting my hands on one of their putters soon! #LABGolf #Putters #InnovativeTechnology

    BTW I brought mine at PGA Superstore, Palm Desert, while visiting the US. The guy there took me through a fitting, and I was sold... I now LOVE putting!!

    Sam or anyone from #LAB if you change the grip on a Mezz Max would it change anything related to the Lie Angle Balance?

    • @labgolf
      @labgolf  4 месяца назад

      Yes, adding a different grip is going to slightly change things. That's why we offer re-gripping and re-balancing services. But simply replacing the same grip will not change things. Keep in mind the change is really, really minor, but it is a change.

    Technology pretty similar to the Edel putter lines torque balanced way of thinking?

    • @labgolf
      @labgolf  4 месяца назад +1

      Those putters are toe up, and they get them that way by adding tons of weight to the heel. They're lower torque, for sure, but they still have some torque. And they tend to be hook biased based on where the weight is located.

    I’ve owned two different ones currently model df3. Our course has slower greens 8-10. Difficulty in getting proper distance. Leave many putts short. I was always been excellent lag putter. Also, difficulty in lining up putts. My face is closed when I think it’s in line. Needs to look slightly open to be the correct line.

    I can’t for the life of me pull the trigger on it. I have tried it at PGA superstore probably 10-15 times and just cannot seem to commit. If there were a money back guarantee within 30 days, that would be helpful.

    • @HalfSetJeff
      @HalfSetJeff 4 месяца назад +1

      Is there a money back guarantee on your driver? You only use it on maybe 14 shots a round! Truth is you’ve bought into “drive(r) for dough, putt(er) for show.” Lots of golfers buy “show piece” putters like Scottys and Bettinardis because they “like the look”. There are only numbers on the scorecard. Anything to lower the numbers works best in this game, but we all struggle with vanity.

    • @austin4740
      @austin4740 4 месяца назад +1

      @@HalfSetJeff not a vanity issue. It is a performance issue. It takes weeks or months to know if it will work better. So could be a 600 dollar paper weight.
      Driver typically has a 90 day trade guarantee.

      You will not regret it, the DF3 is my recommendation. Do the remote fitting, which 90% of the tour pros did as well. I have never rolled it as pure as I have with the new DF3

      @austin4740 4 месяца назад +1

      @@PullHookGolf did the online fitting. Just still having a hard time believing this will make me less yippy on short ones. I currently putt with a spider s face balanced and claw grip. That minimizes hands as much as possible unless I go full broom

    • @PullHookGolf
      @PullHookGolf 4 месяца назад

      @@austin4740 that was my MO, missing on occasion the 3-4ft putt. Putter torque is real and if you are using a spider then this will blow you away as I used a spider for a little while too. What you will end up realizing with the short putts is they become automatic because you don't need to manipulate the putter face. You just take it back and through because the face doesn't try to rotate in your hands. I was very sensitive to face rotation, which I had no idea until I got a DF3.

  • @Kylegolfs94
    @Kylegolfs94 4 месяца назад +1

    Yeah the toe hang putters are designed for the face to open up when you take it back.... because you hold onto it. you also hold onto it when you are doing a forward stroke as well. just like learning how to hold and use a typical putter. You need to Learn to take your thumbs out of the stroke with a lab putter. There is some sauce here that works. I have always found the revealer thing to be a touch on the silly side though. Nobody is swinging their putter on a 360 degree free floating bearing.
