  • The Mustang Mach E has been around for a few years and while it has a stylish wagon-esque figure it hasn't done much since it's release to push aesthetic boundaries. This isn't the case for 2024 and for those who are interested in the performance of the GT trim but want a little more razzle for their dollar the Mach E is stepping forward and learning to accessorize!

That green color is pretty cool. Also love bronze, as opposed to the entirely too played out blacked out appearance (especially black wheels which just hide all detail and design work).

Good job ! I had a deposit& signed contract on a MachE in April 2021. Ford dealer, South Bay in SoCal, sold it to someone else when it came off the trailer. I was bummed for a few weeks until i got Model Y. I will never ever buy a vehicle from a legacy dealer. Love my Tesla but i really appreciate all EVs despite the dishonest dealers.

An old adage: “You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.” The Mach-E sorrowfully is an example of a woefully expensive, incompetent, and awkwardly designed first generation electric vehicle. This car, along with the Nissan Leaf, the Toyota BZ4X, the Honda Clarity EV, the Fiat 500, the Mazda MX-30, the Subaru Solterra, the VW ID4, and the Jaguar I-Pace… to name a few, are reasons why the whole idea of buying electric has become a laughing stock for us petro heads who stick with internal combustion vehicles. And I don’t leave out Tesla vehicles either for I ask this question: Why do the owners of such cars have to put up with impossible fast charging, short driving ranges, eccentric controls, rock hard rides, poor outward visibility, stratospheric prices, and lack of standardization of controls and charge port placement? I think that governments have been too lenient in regulating the car industry, not overseeing gouging dealers, allowing critical vehicle controls to be moved to central display screens, and paying tax rebates for half-baked technology.

@@EVBuyersGuide solid state batteries. Also, more iterations. Tons of people saying the Nissan CUV EV is bad because it was released 2-3 years later than it was supposed to. Which means it’s seen as irrelevant in the current landscape. This also means that these things are highly disposable and makes them the opposite of what they are supposed to be, sustainability conscious.

Instead of fixing the dumb door handles and terrible dash display and controls they are focusing on appearance packages on an already overpriced model. Plus, 19" wheels on a rally inspired variant, seriously? They should be 17 or 18. It's like these companies actively despise their customers. Look at the cost of 19" all-terrains vs 17 and 18. And this thing would eat through those 19" wheels because EVs are so heavy. For some context I daily a Forester XT with 17" BFGoodrich Trail Terrains ATs on WRX wheels and 18" Toyo Open Country ATs on the OE wheels. A set is $800-950 every 40-50k miles, not $1,200 every 35k.
