There will be no solution if either side insists firmly their claims. Sitting down, negotiating and making a compromise between both sides (just like what has been done for the former border dispute between Russia and China) is the only way to get the India-China territory dispute peacefully resolved
India can said whatever they like, and China can do whatever they want. As long both side do not negotiate amicably. Period.

The only road legally goes to China means "free way" is from Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan, means when you reach Gilgit Baltistan that means you have reached china. no road from indian side to china.
