This is my favorite bag. I’ve made dozens! I’ve done it per pattern and several hacks. Bigger as a diaper bag, box bottom with vinyl, my weird “sport stripe” hack. I even made a smaller one for my granddaughter.❤

Just printed the pattern. My question is, am I able to use single sided fusible fleece for outer and inner sections? I want to use cotton ( Tula’s Besties and whimsy solid) except for the bottom, tabs, and zipper cover. For those I am using vinyl or faux leather.
@@rebeccaduffer5722yes of course! I would only use the fleece for the exterior though, not the interior. Use a woven interfacing for the interior.

Been sewing my whole life and been a knitting project bag maker for the last 8 years and your channel showed up on my channel one day a couple of years ago and man was I hooked on handbag/ purse making! My everyday bag is one just like this one but in leather and it has a huge slip pocket on the front with a magnetic snap. You could also add sliders on each strap to adjust the length, an easy fix/mod 😊

I use this as my everyday bag with my toddler, fits my things as well as snacks, his water bottle, some toys. For a nappy bag I would make it a little bit bigger I think (maybe 120%?).
I'm so excited you are doing this bag tutorial! I bought the pattern a while back, but haven't gotten around to trying it. Your tutorials are my absolute go to! You always make the steps seem so clear and easy. There is another bag by Studio Kat Designs called the Cosmo Convertible that is very similar to this one. I bet you would love it as well. The straps attach differently at the top so it doesnt fold over when being used as a backpack. Thanks for being Amazing 😍

Omg, I have a bag similar to that. Mine only has a small pocket on the inside and a tiny zip pocket on the outside. Wish it had more pockets. Of love the colors of your bag.
