- Synopsis: Based on a true story, Nammakam is a story about trust and how lives can be changed forever if that trust is lost. Naveen has a traumatic life experience which holds him hostage until and unless he decides to let that feeling free and accept himself for who he is. Experience the story as he shares his battles with his nephew.

What a simple depiction of complicated life that we go through. A heartfelt conversation that's lifted by the actor's delivery and emotions. Perfect casting, acting and direction. I feel lucky to know Nikhil Ji.

How many of us remember such vivid incidents from our childhood in our adulthood years? The ones that our body just threw out of the system because it could not take it or just buried it into our subconscious that it could almost never be found?
And how often do we find those people who would just LISTEN, NOT HEAR.
How many of them would embrace that child who has been living with us all this while?
Umm, have WE ever tried embracing that child within us? Have we tried consoling that child that it was not his fault to bunk tuitions and go out and play- because that was how freedom and joy felt like to him/her.
If not, hug him/her right away!
That's what this film made me wonder whilst I recollect the memories of my own child.
