- Set in a quaint town in Maharashtra - Palghar. We follow Jeet, a young documentary filmmaker as he spends the day with Mrs. Deshpande & Tulika, her young niece. Mrs. Deshpande is a widowed science professor grieving the death of her young son. The unlikely trio strike a friendship as they express some of their deepest fears. A few unexpected and uncomfortable conversations take place that changes their outlook towards life forever.
Mrs. Deshpande, played by award winning veteran actor Supriya Pilgaonkar of Tu Tu Main Main (1994-2000) fame and Shivani Raghuvanshi of Made in Heaven (2019) and Titli (2014). The film also stars actor-director Adeeb Rais and Delhi based theatre actor Sankalp Joshi.

Thank you for casting Supriya Tai in this role... Her voice, expressions, those natural pauses in between the heavily meaningful lines is so "motherly" that within first few seconds of her entry she convinced us to be a true mother.
Bullying/ragging is such a brutal thing that it cant be explained, a mental break down is a serious issue among youngsters & in India its least considered as an issue of Life & Death... Feeling sorry for your mistakes is useless, stands no importance when somebody committed suicide already.
STOP BULLYING SOMEONE INNOCENT JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE A SENIOR.. somebody would fight back, somebody would cry alone & rearrange the things & somebody would end his life.. & this isn't fun anymore.

Seema Deshmukh yaah everyone needs someone who can listen to them and they can speak their heart out without fear of being judged which is the fear which takes many people’s life ..They don’t talk and as a result they are not able to get the treatment or support they need.
I am the luckiest one to have a mother who listen to me. She never pressurised me for anything like hobby, carrier, marriage etc. I am myself a mother now, and I am also going to do the same thing with my daughter, what my mother did to me "listen to me/her". Thanks Maa. Love you.

Losing a son at a young age rips your heart out. I have seen it happen. My cousin brother passed away in an accident 10 years ago, but it was my mom who was affected the most. She had brought him up. And even now, on his birthday, raksha bandhan and his death anniversary, she gets so emotional it rips me apart.
Supriya ji is correct in saying that no mother deserves it. This is something that actually makes a person dead from inside. Seeing my mother I really do not know how she carries on with her life normally.; it makes me respect her a lot more.
I hope people who are reading this just understand that it's not your life and that you can take it when you feel like it's the end. It has become the life of the people close to you and once you're gone, you're gone. But you take the souls of your loved ones with you.

My nephew suicided when he was in his first year of college. He was a bright student, still we don't know what went in his mind, when he did that. Something he did, and it will remain a question for our whole life.
I hope we as a society are more into listening to others, understanding what each of us wants to cope up in their life. Atleast it will save a lot of life, I hope we have more avenues to stop teenage suicides. It now now, then never. Let's wake up.

Touched to notice that Milind was her only son and after his demise she left her Mumbai home where she had spent the intricate moments of her Motherhood and started living in a 70 year old maternal home. Also seems her husband could not take loss of his son and gave away his life. Both mother's and father's love is too deep, pure and selfless that as a child we might not comprehend fully till the time we become parent.

I had to change my daughters college because she was bullied she is a very bright student but is very soft hearted she came to my room one night she was like a stone expressionless First I was scared then I convinced her she can talk to us me n my husband about any thing what ever happened big or small wrong or right we are with her in any circumstance and nothing to worry absolutely not to worry about what the world says then she showed her chats with her friends on whatts app and instagram we tried talking to those people who she called her friends believe me they were very insensitive and arrogant with us also.She was scared to go to the college so we decided better to change the college .Its very true every one needs a good listener.It helps a lot .If that night my daughter wouldn’t have come in my room I can’t imagine what could have happened God gave her sense to come to us . If there is any such helpline I would surely join it as a listner.
We are really glad that your daughter talked to you about it and you could help her out. communicating with the right people and sharing our problems can actually solve a lot of issues.

"may be listening is all it takes" it has hit the nail on the spot. My aunt was there to hear my never ending stories. To date she is like my second mother. I never hid anything from her. Now I've two kids of my own one in late teens. I did the same thing:
Everyday, since they learn to speak and from kindergarten school years, I've spent a minimum of 20 minutes after school to sit with them and hear their never ending day to day stories and gibberish talks. My son still runs home from university to tell me about his day. I've so far a very good friendly relationship with my kids they come and tell me all their issues and trust my advises. I'm not a homebound mother, but a business woman myself and appointed adjudicator. Yet I have taken out time so anyone can.
My conclusion from my own experience is that it is very important to spend at least this 20 minutes time daily whether after school or at night but a time blocked for this purpose. Just talk anything, in fact let them talk as much but in that time block do not lecture or advise unless they ask for, just listen and comment. Once they build trust with you, they'll open. It is rewarding indeed. Even if only one parent does it, it works.

No one takes depression so seriously!!! They think depression is only about big problems in life... But the small troubles teenagers face also leads to frustration n depression.... Somewhere down the line even parents need to understand that there is a huge difference between their lifestyle in d past n today's lifestyle.... N they should sit n ask their children about the problem not scold n beat them.... Because of the fear children r unable to express their self.... Mental health is a serious problem arising day by day!!! It's a request if possible take some time out from ur busy schedule n sit with ur children n ask about all the small things problems troubles they r facing.... This one step of ours may help to save the life of our own child 🖤

When I talked with my younger brother who is pursuing his B.Com, I came to know that specially in government colleges including govt. hostels the ragging has not stopped completely. My brother told me in his state govt. based hstl, seniors are coming to junior's room and doing smoking n drinking .As well as they r threating the juniors don't dare to lodge any complaint against them. In this situation even if a ragged student complained against a senior, it became danger to his own life. So i hav some opinion to tackle with this :
1. Groom ur children (boy/girl) not to harass mentality or physically to any junior.
2. Also groom ,if ur children face such kind of ragging how should he/she should respond to it.
3.And if u r a senior then try not to continue such ragging parampara any more.
4. Authorities should act strictly against the ragging complaints.
If the victim will not get justice then it will consider as incapability of law.

Simply Beautiful short film... Thank god I didn't took any wrong step when I was bullied so much during my school days. To be honest it was way embarrassing to share the things other boys were saying it was not at all imaginable to share it with some one and get help. Those were friends who thought it's just fun but for me it was killing my confidence and it hurt a lot. I wish I could help those who are in need.

It's more than listening that's needed. There is a need to remove the stigma around seeking help or counseling for issues and problems like these. Otherwise, we start helplines and people are hesitant to use them. If someone finds out that another person is seeking counseling, then they might rag them more and the situation may only worsen.

Simple and very deep message to parent’s......we do take care of their regular day to day wants...but don’t have time to understand what they are going through mentally and internally....if we spent quality time with children and connect with them...may be we could save our children from these kind of tragedies.....
