    Hello my friend, I have the Mjx Citron Rally versioning I need to replace the motor for a lower kv motor because there are no pinion gear options, I need more torque for rally racing in the dirt, do you know of a lower kv motor that would work? Thanks

    Hopefully you got more than just the 1 differential initially lol, since there's a duplicate in the front that will blow out or most likely has surely blown out around 4 months ago 😅

    The other spur gear is for the front. So you can still use it if you have a problem in the front

      @@johnivers6983 Yea, I ordered them on Amazon. I'll send the link here and hope they are still active. GDOOL Powder Metallurgy Spur Gear with Pinion Gear 16401Y a.co/d/6j7AQkl that's the diff. The spur gear is Fyfracing 16420Y Differential and 16402Y a.co/d/gaZIdlX

      @@johnivers6983 all together on Amazon it's about 45$ or so. Your going to need to use that pinion also. It has a particular pattern on it that only fits that differential so you need to swap both. Part numbers are listed as well. Enjoy man. Thanks for the support and comments!!

      @@johnivers6983 Thank you so much. I should be releasing some new content soon. At some point I am just dealing with a broken phone and a crappy phone company that doesn't want to let me upgrade without paying for the entire device first. But my entire back screen is cracked along with my camera. But again my carrier is giving me issues

      How did it break? Is it shredded? Do you have pics? Email me PA.RcRoadRash@gmail.com And also we're you running it on 3s? We have two options tho, we can return them to Amazon or your preferred shopping method, and get a full refund. Secondly do you have pictures of the packaging? I'd love to help as much as I can

    Thinking of buying the 14210 but heard it is very hard to work on. I think it would be the same as this. Do you think this is hard to work on?

    • @RCRoadRash
      @RCRoadRash  5 месяцев назад

      @@t3floz not necessarily hard to work on I would say. I found it's actually pretty easy some of the smaller parts are less complicated like the fellow 10 scales so breaking something down can be somewhat easier. The only problem I found with this one is the amount of screws you need to undo to get to the gears of the truck. Like with the Big rock you can get to the diff in like 6 screws. This one was about double that. I would say both hypergos will present different situational issues but with patience and photographic memory . Or using photos for memory lmao you can work your way through it relatively easily. I know for sure though if you beef any of them up on 3s watch those gears. Have fun brother! Thanks for the view and comment.

      @@RCRoadRash ah i see. Ye i always use 3s on my e revo 1/16 but i just think it’s a pain to work with and it also feels like i have to upgrade it so much to make it durable. That’s why im thinking of buying the mjx because it seems to be more durable but i just hope that it isn’t harder to work on if I where to buy it

    Awesome video mate! I recently bought the 16209 for my son and then bought the 16208 for myself and looks like we need to replace the diffs or spur gear already! I haven't pulled it apart yet but the centre shaft assembly and upgraded diff is in the mail. I saw on your other comment asking if he used the 3S battery? I know it gives the car heaps more power but MJX say you can run it on it though gives it way too much power even on 70%. Might have to upgrade the servo too as the 16209 is getting another one sent out under warranty. Do you recommend a better/stronger servo?

    • @RCRoadRash
      @RCRoadRash  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you so much! Yea the MJX has claims it can run a 3s, especially on your son's model. I believe his has the "beast" mode feature. Where you hold the ESC button down for like 5 seconds and it beeps a couple times. That's like their beast mode, and it's only available in a few models. But yea 70% on a 3s is ideal, on 100% your just gonna sling it right onto its back. Ofcourse with proper throttle manipulation you can do it, but most of us wanna just hammer down that throttle lol, which leads us here. To be honest I have not really looked into upgrading the servo just yet, I try to avoid upgrading unless I need to. But I have looked into it. If you find any that you think work well or are worthy let me know. If I upgrade ofcourse there will be a video for it. thanks again for the support and comments!
