Hoping to shore up support amongst the voting partners, Jessica sends Harvey to court Paul Porter, the head of the bankruptcy department. Suits delves into the fast-paced, high-stakes world of a top Manhattan corporate law firm where hotshot associate Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht, “Love & Other Drugs”) makes a risky move by hiring Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams, “Old School”) a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout, as his associate. As he becomes enmeshed in this unfamiliar world, Mike relies heavily on the firm’s best paralegal Rachel (Megan Markle, “Horrible Bosses”) and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna (Sarah Rafferty, “Brothers & Sisters”) to help him serve justice. With a photographic memory and the street smarts of a hustler, Mike proves to be a legal prodigy despite the absence of bonafide legal credentials.

"I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY!"
Oh, sorry wrong show...
Michael Scott haha
ROFLMFAO!!!!
Explain this comment like I'm 5...
Actually Harvey withholding any information is illegal
So was hiring a kid who doesn’t have a law degree but who’s following?
Irl Harvey and most of this firm would have been disbarred multiple times
❤@@Vikturus22
@@jameshagan2832 would Alex Williams get disbarred for the prison situation if Harvey and mike weren’t there and it came out?
That wasn't illegal, Mike Ross passed the bar exam. What was illegal was telling every client that all their associates graduated from Harvard. @@Vikturus22
I love the fast reading… just a blink and they know it all 😂
I also wish for a series where they show us characters reading their books and lengthy documents at normal speed
It would be thrilling
@@MortSalazar🤣🤣🤣 finally someone using logic
In reality, they’ve probably seen the exact same forms hundreds of times and there’s stuff indicated on form of the standout points
@@allencrasta5851 i mean at least a short cut, (maybe a location switch where they're sitting or something) to indicate that "some" time has passed, you know?
Can I choose hardman?
Here's the thing, hardman is amoral enough to probably keep mike on if he backed him
He'd keep Mike on right up until his secret became even the slightest problem, then fire him. If you think otherwise, Hardman has tricked you just like he tricked everyone else.
Jessica was never concerned about what was best for the client they represent. She was only worried about herself. As for the old lawyer, it was the client claiming bankruptcy that would keep him employed. The old lawyer was NEVER concerned about what was best for his client.
Jessica was ALWAYS asking people to put herself ahead of them, even at the expense of what was best for their clients.
0:56 Mike made this show 😂
Did anyone else think about Charlie the Unicorn when they heard "C'mon... I love you, Harvey?"
wooooww what a throwback, I didn't before but now I do
Great Mike action @ 5.25
0:56 that sent me ahahahahahahahaha
Porter was extremely lame
Nahh he had some power
All Jessica wanted was bowtie's vote.
Recession = bankruptcy attorney got it 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Achha happy endings 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Recessions can lead to bankruptcy, and being smart enough to declare it before you're too deep in the hole to recover is business strategy.
any pianta lovers?
I prefer Piantwo, but what does that have to do with suits
@@Bavaria31 he's trying to socialise let him practice XD
@@xn4vi77 doing that on the RUclips comment section is wild
@@Bavaria31 I'm just glad that this wasn't Instagram comments lol
The football analogy is just awful.
I liked it.
Which episode it is
S2 E2
Jessica was only concerned about herself the cow
CA san antonio - 8 years / 4/4 nift/ aieee secretary AP/PA Secetary
Paul needed to be a bigger character
Intelligence of women always baffles me ....the way they switch from all professional to full emotional disadvantaged little girls is amazing....it's like if I can't convince him professionally let me heap emotional guilt all over him by "I trusted you;I never thought I was alone;you never placed me before you;I will get out of this 😁
The Incel Street is two blocks ahead bud
and it looks like your standing on white knight simp lane
100% correct although I give Jessica credit she has proven herself formidable whereas Donna has always wanted the accolades, titles and respect without ever earning them.
Secretary no matter how gifted promoted to Senior Partner and COO is absurd and she would’ve never dared to ask Jessica for such a thing because that emotional mind game can only be played on men they can never do that to other women especially one above their pay grade because they see all of that coming a mile away.😂😂😂😂😂
@@Shadowdrag00n Calling someone an incel doesn't make you a simp, but blaming a person's mistake entirely on their gender DOES make you an incel. I'm gonna assume you're also an incel, so you probably won't get that.
@@KitKatNisa Wow, was it a slow week, nobody paying any attention to you so decided to make some word salad post??
Firstly i called them white knighting at least act like you can read a full sentence and not just one word from it. Secondly what was even your point aside from the attention seeking? please answer that or just retreat back to whatever rock thought it was safe to stick your head out from.
Harvey 100% wrong for this
Not really. Harvey did his job. He kept the client happy by allowing them to stay in business. Paul Porter was also not in the wrong. He advised bankruptcy because he believed it was the only option to save his client. But unfortunately for him, he didnt have a Mike for a partner. Mike found something to help the client that nobody else would’ve found. Not knowing anything about it, of course he’d be mad about Harvey going against his interest for his client. Harvey’s only wrong for not pleasing Paul, and bringing him to Jessica’s side, which made Jessica mad. Jessica was so focused on keeping power that she advised Harvey to withhold information from the client, which is legal malpractice and a disbarrable offense. Jessica is completely in the wrong, she chose her desire for power over helping a client.
Harvey did wrong by Porter, but did right by the client.
However, by doing wrong with Porter, he did wrong with Jessica.
Not really because hiding the information from the client would have been illegal (but then again so are 90% of the moves they make in this show).
@@conorwellman8592 Tom isn't Harvey's client, he's Porter's client. Porter is the only one with an obligation to inform Tom about the deal, and Harvey never informed HIM about it until the meeting with Tom.
