Loving the tip of leaving the centre straps attached to help roll up the hood when removing.

I highly recommend a tonneau cover. If you have a heater and are driving alone on a cold day, leave the passenger side on. Toasty. It is also much quicker to put on than the roof, outside that country pub. A great protector against small boys jumping in. Perfect.

Caterham HH owner here 🙋‍♂ Can't believe I'd never thought of leaving it attached like that though; I used to store the HH in the passenger seat 🤦‍♂ Another genius idea, thank you!

As an old guy, I have a difficult time getting in and out of the open Caterhamas it is. I need to sit up on the drive shaft tunnel to lift my feet out. I could never do it with the half or full hood installed. Luckily, I live in Southern California and never have to worry about bad weather. I wear a zip-up hoodie jacket for cool days and wind buffeting protection.

Thanks Callum, more useful tips. I have a Softbits mohair HH and it’s a great piece of kit. So much so that my current car doesn’t even have the option to fit the full hood. Great tips about leaving the rear straps attached and I never knew how to properly remove the side poppers. I usually just wrestle with them for a while 😂

Is that a 420R SV you have? I can't see it for sale on your website?

Wow, now there’s a rare machine 😊 TBH, we don’t know. You’re best off getting in touch with Softbits for Sevens, who make them. They’ll be able to tell you for sure 👍
