i just got your kit and a set of 12 inch z bar mini apes. i'm ganna have them put on this week. can't wait to see how the bike turns out when it's done!!!
Nice video. This is probably the most popular modification out there. I recently did it to my 76 Sporty. It would be great to see a video demonstrating proper soldering technique on the wires you installed. This is an important step towards the reliability of the intsall, and many people could benefit from seeing it done properly. I know I could. Thanks
Great video, I ordered a set of Burly 14" bars and cables everything went on fine except I installed the throttle cables and it seems like the return cable is on the wrong side of the switch housing and the throttle rolls toward the front. I did install the correct cable(s) to the right diameter of cable housing. Any info would be helpful Thanks
about to put my order in at the end of the week. I got 10 inch Harley factory mini-apes. You guy's seem to have every componant needed for an full install where other brands miss this and that. I fucks with Burly though. oh also this weekend installing the slammer shocks for my 2003 883r. Fucking Burly!
Question, I enstalled 16'' apes on an 04 sportster 1200 using same burly kit, matched all the wires back up kept everything neat and heat shrinked. but when i hooked it all back up and tried to test my lights nothing is working correctly? any thoughts? tips? Thanks,
I'm begging you start making kits with ABS brake lines for sportsters! I'm stuck with my work, was always dreaming about set of apes. cannot do anything!
Pull the face of the plug off to reveal the steel connectors inside. Each connector has a tab on it. A paperclip or other pointed tool can be used to push on the tab, this will release the connector and it can then be pulled out of the back of the plug (each wire has a connector and each has to be done individually). That help? If not, drop us a line using the contact info on our site RUclips does not allow links within their comments) and we'll walk you though it.

How did he get to the wiring and how did take it off??
Thanks!
This video is lacking he just explains it like a stoner
cause he is
is there a video on the riding position?
how do you pull out the wires from the wire connectors? Is there a special tool?
A small flat head or paper clip works.

Wish you made a cable kit for 1994 Softail Custom.
Apologize for the delay, just caught this question... The bars in the video are 12" Narrow Bottom Apes.
If you can't do this you shouldn't be riding
Lowlifebiker666 if you ride a sportser you should have your man card pulled
If you think riding a sportster requires your man card to be pulled, then you should have your man card pulled.
