I need to correct you on the Aral Sea it wasn't climate change nor pollution. It fell victim to the former USSR's centralized government. The water was drained off to supply farming, due to a government bureaucrat deciding that the climate was perfect for growing crops that the USSR was short of at that time. Once the water was partially drained and the run off from the farms, containing chemical fertilizers was concentrated, the fishing suffered greatly. This policy was not corrected until the farms themselves began to fail and the water was virtually unusable. The result is a sea was turned into a desert.
Facts matter and before you go making any claim about the cause of an effect you must thoroughly research it and check multiple sources. When I was in high school anyone who studied the area was given the same information I used in my comment, in part. The rest, I had to find out myself by using available libraries. Global warming wasn't even proposed until over 30 years later, and since I have read the original peer review paper proposing it as a phenomenon, I found the data, the author (that is right it was just one college professor at Berkley) and the conclusion suspect.
