ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveller and RUclips creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveller, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on RUclips, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.
Living nomadically since 2016, I settled in England in early 2022 after marrying my British husband, David. Now based in the UK, I continue to travel and share my adventures on RUclips.

I'm from Uzbekistan. Cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva no way related to Persia or Iran.
To say the truth, these ancient architectural buildings built by ruling Turks/Nowadays Uzbeks during the Great Temurids Empire, especially during the Amir Temur and his dynasty.
Also, Iran (Persia) was part of the Temurids Empire back in times.
While watching the vlog, I did surprise when blogger said "Buhara functioned as one of the main parts of persian civilization". No hard feelings, but it is hypocrisy.
Some tourists, but not all, visit and enjoy in my country and praise to natives while tuor, then goes back where they come from and tries to discredit Uzbeks/Turks history by linking it to Perisa.

Bukhara, the birth place of Imam Bukhari. Wonderful and informative
Told my boyfriend that after our bar exam, we’ll go here-to our dream country, Uzbekistan. Manifesting it!!
Wishing you the best of luck 😊
Good luck, my bar exam is in 2 days!
No offense to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, but if a friend of mine told me “I have just 10 days of vacation, which of the four countries should I visit?”, most-most probably (depending on my friend’s interests), my answer would be “Uzbekistan”. Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva have been the highlights for me in this four-month trip.
I’d say Kazakhstan is awesome if you are in the mood to rent a car and just… drive, for hours, alone or with good company, just drive, not see another car for hours, just you, the flat terrain and the blue sky, “lose yourself” in the immense… emptiness of Kazakhstan.
Kyrgyzstan is ideal for trekking lovers, particularly the area around lake Issyk-Kul is a trekker’s paradise, especially if you can combine it with staying at yurts.
As for Tajikistan, this is just my third day in Dushanbe, I have liked everything I’ve seen thus far, but… risking a “verdict”, yeah, if someone asked me “where should I go? Just 10 days”, the answer looks self-evident to me, Uzbekistan.
Very well-shot video, as always. And hey, great that you had your husband to share that awesome room. :-):-):-) I’m so desperate for a biiit of “luxury” that I’m considering spending 35-40 euros for a single night, having spent the last 100 days at - very nice, but still - hostels. 🙂
Sorry for the long comment!
Thank you, welcome to Uzbekistan 🇺🇿

Uzbekistan is a hidden gem. It’s one of our favorite places we have been.
We just returned from a wonderful visit to Uzbekistan, and you moved me immensely with this video. You're becoming better, more observant, and more insightful with every video, and this was your best yet.
Aw thanks a lot, Roger! That's so kind of you. Dave plays a huge role with the outcome of this video. He chose the perfect music to elevate this video and his filming skills helped this video to get the cinematic look. Thank you so much!

Interesting and beautiful geographical and cultural place with amazing and beautiful architecture of those historical buildings, real works of art. Thank you Syifa for showing us this part of the world through your Journey.
Thanks a lot, Marin! Glad to hear it :)
Beautiful place. Amazing colors. This video looks very "cinematic", I'm guessing your husband is responsible for this. Great camera work! And I think, I remember you answering my question about the camera you're using. It was Sony 6400 or something like that. Is that right? I just got myself A7miv and I couldn't be happier. There's a reason why they're top rated!
Thanks Ryan! Yes, thanks to Dave's amazing filming skills so some of the shots are incredible. He was using Sony A7R3 but with 2 different lenses, FE 16-35mm F4 and FE 85mm F1.8. I am using Sony A6600 with Sony 24-70mm f/2.8.
Wow, Sony A7IV sounds incredible, Ryan! Hope you get to play with it. Are you planning to travel anytime soon?
What a beautiful place and the ancient historical buildings architecture is very interesting and nice artwork I really enjoy your beautiful video.

Wow... Samarkand and Bukhara.... This video reminds me when I was traveling there alone back in 2020.... It's quite emotional for me.... I love this video, Good luck Syifa 🙂

The great place...The building is beautiful, the motifs, the culture is amazing..👍👍
Thank you so much for your comment and for watching!
All these buildings in Samarkand and Bukhara were built in the 14th-15th to 19th centuries by the Turkic dynasties that ruled these lands, the Timurids, Sheibanids, Ashtarkhanids and Mangyts are all Turks and it has nothing to do with the Persians.
I agree with it being Timurids period but there was a Persian influence during this time as Central Asia was the crossroads between these cultures.
@@SyifaAdriana The influence of cultures is always two-sided and the Persians borrowed a lot from the Turks, because over Iran many times was under the influence of the Turkic dynasty that ruled Iran, such as the Ghaznavids, Seljuks, Khorezmshahs, Ilkhanids, Chobanids, Kara-Koyunlu, Ak-Koyunlu, Safavids, Afsharids, Qajars.

Stop stealing turkic history)
There was no Persian empire, you were part of the Turkic empire, idiots

Halo Mbak Syifa, mau tanya dong:
1. Untuk pembelian ticket kereta api kl mau ambil rute Tashkent-Samarkand-Bukhara harus online in advance atau bisa lsg on the spot di station?
Kyrgyzstan is not that develop like Uzbekistan and not many tourist visit this country ! Uzbekistan was part of Soviet Union and during that time all the buildings was converted to storage’s and not renovated ! Kyrgyzstan has still a natural beauty and lots of wild places which I love. I adore the Kyrgyz's deep relation and lfiestyle to wild nature.
