I think the most two amazing characters Malcolm X had was his honesty and bravery. He was honest to himself that he seeked truth and when he found it, he had the courage to leave all what he had been prior to that moment and embraced the new truth. And that happened twice in lifetime. First when he entered the prison he saw truth in Elijah Muhammad's teachings and moved to a new life, and when he knew that Elijah Muhammad was a fraud he again was able to direct his course of life in the true Islam. This guy is amazing. May Allah forgive all of his sins. He is truly a hero and role model to all humanity not just black Americans.

Malcom X was a educated man, and I appreciate his life here on earth. Without Malcom X fought for our freedom to. The freedom of being a human who the white supremacist denied us color to be.
I really like to see that the attention for Malcolm X is growing worldwide. That he has some kind of reborn of his personality and his actions for mankind. That his legacy is being embraced by more and more people. I’ve been following him now for about a half year. May Allah have mercy on his soul because he was such a good human being, ma shaa Allah. Last week, there was a politic party in the Netherlands that honored him and they were also speaking about intolerance and racism against grandchildren of immigrants. The people were very woke about modern day problems in society that nobody wants to do something about. I really hope that we, as an Ummah, as a Society, can follow in his footsteps, in our own way, and be honest and keep an open mind in our search for intelligence and truth and stand against injustice that is happening everywhere in the world. I pray that people around the world are getting aware of problems all around the globe and that we all raise awareness and take action against injustice and racism. Let us be inspired by this great man and his mission. I pray that the future is bright for us and for oppressed people, for example in India, Palestine, Syria, China and so many other countries were people are being oppressed, and that we can be a voice for them and speak up for them. I pray that God helps us on this mission, because I feel it is our duty. And God knows best.
Learning about Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali is what made me interested in Islam.
Allah Swt blessed this brutha - the Prince of our Ummah the shining star. He accepted Islam wholeheartedly and cared about his people. I am muslim and not African American. I was born in India and grew up in the West. This man affected me. He made his concerns - human concerns. He gave a damn. Never a hypocrite. They could not break this man down.

One of the saddest events i read in malcolm autobiography was the last time his brother Reginald visit him in the cafe next to temple 7 in harlem, Malcolm had to let his brother know that he was not welcome in the presence of no Noi memebers including Malcolm himself. Basically, Malcolm had to turn against his own flesh n blood to not jepordize his position as a national spokeman and faithful leader for the Noi. That truly touched Malcolm as him and reginald was close brothes in realationship.
NOI divided Malcolm and his brother as he would never see his brother Reginald again before his assassination.

@@zaynab7803 Malcolm X (1992). I'd say you should watch it for the history of his life. Yes it does contain music and kissing , but it can be skipped , and it's supposed to portray that to show what type of lifestyle he had before Islam
