We all love the worldly life and all the glamour it contains, from its cars, to its houses, to its wealth and all the luxuries it has to offer. We desire its riches, its comforts and the sparks of happiness it brings. We love it. It’s a fact none of us can deny.
Yet the sad part about it is, as much as we love this world, it will never love us back and only ever run away from us. The truth is, this world will only ever tempt you, tease you and eventually break your heart.

for a majority of my life ive only really knew slight christianity, but primarily didn't believe. i went to church a couple of times, but never really found any meaning in it. not to long ago i decided to convert to islam, and i actually find myself at peace, and am generally a lot more happy and grounded.

Money loves you until it gets bored of you, then you get bored of it and want more so you can get that happiness back for a short time
Many famous people lack/ed nothing in the material wealth of this world, but live/d miserable lives to the point of being driven to suicide!!! There are great lessons in this, money is necessary, but nothing more than a utility. True contentment comes from enjoying the blessings of the Almighty, remembering him and being grateful to him and more happiness from knowing the true creator and following his prescribed path.
Every loss is nothing but a reminder that nothing in this Dunya is permanent not even your worries.

I believe we can reach the highest levels of happiness in this life before the other one, it's not black or white, islam has come to bring happiness and peace to our lives, it's by praying connecting with Allah that we find true happiness and fulfillment.
