Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I believe most of BABYMETAL fans appreciate BMTH's call for this collaboration. They made BM known to their big fanbase. Literally BMTH brought BM another horizon.The two group have been good friends for years. Friendship is important. (Vice versa. BMTH appreciated BM's call when they performed in 4 BM shows at 2 huge arenas in Japan held in Nov. 2019)
Now in 2023, BMTH and BM will perform at three festivals hosted by BMTH in Japan, called Nex Fest and I have a ticket to one of the three on Nov.1.😍
[ Recently I witnessed BABYMETAL performance live twice : (1) A concert that was held particularly for The One members on Aug.16 where their new song "Metali" was premiered and (2) An main act appearance in a huge festival "Summer Sonic Tokyo" on Aug.20. Both were amazing. .... FYI : In the festival, right before BABYMETAL, Evanescence showed up. I was moved to tears by Amy Lee's "Bring Me To Life".]
I just discovered this song and I am now annoyed that I didn't discover Babymetal earlier.

The zoomies is a perfect description. First time I heard it was at the end of a workout and it definitely gave me the zoomies even after being tired from a workout.
I've seen BMTH 3 times in the passed two years, and this song goes so god damn wild live. You HAVE to experience it next time they're on tour in your area.
BMTH+babymetal, the best combination of 2020...And how not to mention the great MICK GORDON who produced the bits and the mix of the song, who for those who don't know is the composer of DOOM, makes this song... ETERNAL!!!!!!

You are not wrong that you hear some game-like music, one of the producers of this album/song was: Mick Gordon, known for the music of Doom, etc.
And the song theme is similar to the Matrix movie, like Babymetal ladies are playing a game called Kingslayer and Oli is the character they controlling and is trying to escape the sad world. Or maybe he is playing the game and trying to enter the game instead of having to deal with the real world ??? Something along those lines.

So I saw these guys headline at Download this year and my god it was the best thing I had ever been part of, I was in the moshpit at the front and the energy during this song was absolutely nuts

Apparently BABYMETAL provided more vocals in English at first but Oli went back and asked for Japanese. I love that the two bands are friends and have such mutual respect. BMTH went up a notch in my estimation for this.

Just caught the live performance at the World Kinen Hall in Kobe Japan. Mind f*** blown here as went way over my expectations here.
Might be the best live collaboration i've seen in seveal years. Oli was so moved by the performance that he later said. That this might be the last time he performes this live.
Unless Babymetal is there with them. Project Kingslayer was 3 years in the making. No one expected it would ever come to reality. To see it come out so brilliantly says a lot here.

One of the coolest things was at Reading Festival when Babymetal were quite new. BMTH was headlining that night and Olly said during his set “hands up for the best band to play Reading Babymetal”. Also seeing a bunch of bikers moshing to Babymetal was hilarious.

Honestly, this is how a real collab is done. Really get annoyed with "collabs" where the featured artist sings like a word or two. This almost feels like 60% Babymetal and 40% BMTH, if you really count the time each group sung in the song..... If you take away the swearing, this song/sound wouldn't be out of place in a Babymetal album, especially their last album The Other One, which a experimental concept album.... Totally agree, anyone that can keep still to a Babymetal song, or (GASP) a Babymetal concert, is a total red flag..... 😂😂😂😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘
