The Cat was in full shop cat mode. Probably over heard bird’s nest which really got his attention. Hopefully he didn’t chew up anything important? Great video and Great content as usual. M3 life!
The hard work is appreciated Yuri. Totally feel you when you said it would not have happened when Mike was not there, sometimes that's how it goes. Great to have friends who step in with some motivation and helping hands. Not to forget Paul, love his getting sh!t done mindset. Keep up the great work!
I worked for a bmw dealership for 30 years and did 7 or 8 complete harnesses. I remember working a whole shift and looking at my progress thinking I didn’t get anything done even though I worked my ass off all day. You guys are great
Thanks Yuri for managing to dispel any romantic thoughts about doing anything like this mammoth undertaking. I will never ever even think about it. Full credit to you and the guys for even starting this. Can’t wait for the finished product. 😊
I can't believe that harness!! Your a stud! I couldn't believe you guys got that done in such a small time frame! Props to Mike, a life saver for sure!
Yuri well done getting that wiring loom back in, it looked like a nightmare. You are so well focused, that is a massive project, and you made a significant step forward in this video. It was great to see Mike helping too.
Props to you, Paul and Mike for tackling such a huge job. You’re a braver man than me! You truly are blessed to have such awesome brothers to help you and keep things fun!
Cats keeping his balls clean😂😂 amazed how you can get all this stuff back together guys and well done Mike for helping out . that coax cable is pretty easy to fix Yuri you can easily do that with your skills dude ! just make sure you insulate properly between the cores it’ll be just fine ..great vid 👍
Mad props for helping Yuri Mike!!!!!👏👏👏Yuri same goes for YOU!!!!! I’ve seen YOU step off the frame machine in the middle of a pull to help ANYONE…👏👏👏👍👍👍
I’m currently installing a new wiring harness in my 1965 corvette, you’ve inspired me with this video. Mine shouldn’t be an issue after what you accomplished. Great job!
When I was modifying airplanes we used to "piggyback" wires along a harness using military spec ties that were a black Dacron type of cloth string tie. The spec was ties about every 6 inches and we would follow the harness along the replaced wire. It would be a minor pain to cut out the wires you need from the original harness and "piggyback" them into the car but you would not have any breaks in the data bus wires which introduce resistance and could cause you data issues. This is just a suggestion and may be the safest way to avoid problems later on with your wiring. You might consider this option. Mike is a beast who kept you going and you both accomplished quite a bit to get this project off the ground. You keep working at this rate and soon this car will move again on it's own.
It's a lot of work swapping out the components so this will be interesting. This video dropped just as I was having a morning cup of tea. Thanks from a subscriber in Australia 🦘
I gotta admit...Chevy guy here and I never understood your BMW LS Swap project...but LOVED seeing the progress and the quality of work....I am sad now to not see it finished...oh well...to each his own...you do you! Thanks for the amazing work you do! Can't you take the broken wires from the white car's harness?
Cant wait to see the final part of this bmw swap over and car completely finished im sure it going to look sick man, great video once again man!. Piece 💪💪👌👌👍👍👍🏴
Great job so far. And great idea to buy the donor and get the white one back up and running. Smart to know when to throw in the towel sometimes. I’m sure you didn’t forget, but please swap the seat belts! Keep up the kick ass efforts! 🙌🏼
its the complete package that keeps me watchin your videos camera work, skills in welding, bodywork, your photographic memory when tearing these clunkers apart just to reinstall everything that you tore out its amazing i worked in the body shop painting for years and i still have trouble remembering where shit goes that i tore apart this morning so your editing is great you also have a comedic approach to everything you do which make s for easy watching you deserve to have 100k subs and if i could get you there i would
Great Team, and Mike is a great guy helping you out with this difficult job !! And men what a bunch of wires , that good make me crazy !! Love to see when they engine is build in and the car is back to be original ! And is there a frame work job of the Shop door ????? Best video Yuri !!
Nice work. The twisted wires looks like speaker wires, I know BMW have that in a lot of models. In my older Bmw the yellow twisted wires i speakers from the amplifier
Antenna wires can't be repaired. Just remove the wires from the old harness and run it next to the original harness. That's how the factory wanted to do it.
Well done Mike. The thing about good friends is good people have good friends, bad people have bad friends.
That’s facts!
I have no friends, based on this logic am I even real?
Why did you take that beautiful LS3 out bud?@@23RD
Thanks Mike for helping out Yuri. A true friend.
The Cat was in full shop cat mode. Probably over heard bird’s nest which really got his attention. Hopefully he didn’t chew up anything important? Great video and Great content as usual. M3 life!
Great job Yuri & Mike - again! Put the LS in Pop's hot rod!!

As I’m sure most will agree, it’s so wholesome to watch you doing this with your bigger brother. Impressive wiring to say the least!
Mike and Yuri a wiring team with a mission. well done both of you, Paul had a lot of input too.
The hard work is appreciated Yuri. Totally feel you when you said it would not have happened when Mike was not there, sometimes that's how it goes. Great to have friends who step in with some motivation and helping hands. Not to forget Paul, love his getting sh!t done mindset. Keep up the great work!
The only way Yuri and Mike got the harness done was all the work Paul put in the day before. Great job Paul
