    I really can't find my cervix.
    I bought a menstrual cup so I could make my life easier since my whole family uses them and well period suplies are kinda expensive over time. So I should know where my cervix is to use the cup correctly... but you know it's kinda hard since I can't even find it. Either my cervix is high up and my fingers can't reach it or then I just do something wrong that keeps me from finding it.

      Your cervix moves high and low throughout the month. To find the right cup you should measure your cervix on the first day of your period and on the last day, then take the lowest length and buy a cup according to that. I might sound confusing....here is a wonderful video that really helped me

      Much appreciated Chrstine. We try to break things down in a way that's easy to understand, so this means a lot.

      Thanks for reaching out! First, take a deep breath and know you're doing alright - it can take a few tries to find your cervix! 😊Your cervix actually changes in position and texture throughout the month, indicating when your body is most fertile and least fertile. I'd encourage you to checkout our blog post, 'How to Find Your Cervix'- support.mosiebaby.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023576094-How-to-Find-Your-Cervix for more insight on which steps to take.
      Hope this helps a bit and feel free to email us at mosie@mosiebaby.com, or checkout www.mosiebaby.com/support if additional questions come up. We are rooting for you!

    Okay at first, I was just attempting to find my cervix and not for anything special. I’m not sure if it’s my cervix that I felt because I couldn’t feel anything that you described in the video or roundness I’ve heard in other videos. Instead, I felt maybe like a ball but with lumps or bumpiness? Is that normal...?

    When you’re using a mirena iud does the cervix still go through changes in texture and location?

    • @Mosiebaby

      Thanks for commenting! I had this same question for my ObGyn! And surprisingly, she didn't know the answer. I personally was interested to know so I would check my cervix all.the.time with my IUD. In the end I never definitively could tell if I was still ovulating. I ultimately stopped getting my period. I have since had my IUD removed and my cycle is back. I can feel all the cervical changes. Ask your doctor too! I'd be curious to know what they say.

    I can feel it does that means I'm pregnant?

    • @Mosiebaby

      That's great! Unfortunately, your cervix, cannot confirm pregnancy. You can confirm pregnancy by either collecting a urine or blood sample. The most common are at home pregnancy test- which are sold in the Mosie Baby store here: mosiebaby.com/products/
      Wishing you all out best and sincerely rooting for you!

    How open the cervix

    • @Mosiebaby
      @Mosiebaby  4 года назад +3

      Thanks for reaching out, Kim! When you are fertile or ovulating, the cervix opens and when you aren’t, the cervical opening is closed. When you are fertile, the position of your cervix in your vagina changes, moving higher (and sometimes harder to reach with your finger - take note of this, it can be extremely helpful to know about your body). When you aren’t fertile, your cervix is lower in the vagina and easier to locate. Hope this provides a little insight and feel free to reach out via email at mosie@mosiebaby.com, or check out www.mosiebaby.com/support if additional questions come up.

    Why would you want to touch your cervix-

    • @Mosiebaby
      @Mosiebaby  3 года назад +13

      Well, it is your body after all. So don't be scared! Own your body. And to answer your question, to help you gain knowledge about your cycle and the right time (or best time not) to make a baby. Wishing you the best!
