It would have been nice that you confirmed that they adopted him. I think they did, but cannot be sure.
They took him home, but he didn't settle and there were behavioural issues so he got sent back. He did find another home though, just not on the show.

@@joosiej85 I don’t think they said he had behavior issues because they said despite what Clarence had been through he was friendly and affectionate.
