Cool video Josh. One other thing you might consider in the future for diagnosing any engine for a catastrophic failure is cut open the oil filter and open the paper to check for metal. We have used it for years works for quick theories
Even on this early video You Josh showed your honesty and integrity by asking viewers about the mysterious bolts that perplexed you 🙌 Never tried to be a know it ALL ,Not a Rip-off mechanic that would have just Replaced EVERYTHING ⁉️ I thought I heard a young Ralphie in the background giving this "Sleeper" just a hint of your getting in the groove as you gained more experience and confidence in your Utube video presentations 👏👍🙌💯💥 When you started including Tosh ,Squeezy,WaWa, Ralphie and the Main Man "ROCKY" IS WHEN YOUR CHANNEL BECAME A MUST SEE FOR ALL SLEEPERS EVERY WHERE🤗😎 NOW IN OCT 2022 LIKE GRACIOUSLY STATE YOU AND FAMILY ARE LIVING YOUR DREAM AND WE ALL JUST APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH 💯
Great video, the first of your older ones I've watched. The production quality on you newer videos is much better plus we now get all the family interaction.
1st time im watching josh.great vids amd very detailed and clear on what your doing josh.i will be a new subscriber.btw I will be doin the same thing to my 6.0.lq4 really sucks to
Damn. The sounds were true indicators this time, eh? Figured they might be with the oil pressure taking so long to get there and it being low, but I kept my fingers crossed. Amazing how quick and totally an engine will kill itself from someone not being quite so thorough or careful with the torque settings. Then again, I've had bearing roll on engines that have done 230,000 miles and not having shown a hint of trouble or a possible reason before just doing it. On to the next....!
the bolt holes in the front are for the timing chain damper part number 12588670 that looks like a later model block because of the afm oil passages in the valley
Good video man. Man that suck that the bearing spun out. I remember when I spun my main bearings in my Mustang. Was the GTO car yours or was it someone car that you was working on?

When I was working on cars the first thing I did was a compression check
Yeah that’s good
My L99 is exactly the same ) I overhauled heads and clicking noise comed on
Good video man. Man that suck that the bearing spun out. I remember when I spun my main bearings in my Mustang. Was the GTO car yours or was it someone car that you was working on?
