Me and a friend were just talking about building a vert ramp. I immediately googled vert ramp plans and got overwhelmed trying to understand them. This video really teaches a lot to a still growing/recovering brain like mine. God bless yall for making a beautiful ramp reality. I intend to make my own one day!

Hey Leo! Thanks for this awesome vid I've watched it soo many times over the years! Any chance you still have plans for this beast? Would love to have them. Cheers from South Africa
thats awesome. how much money all up went it to that.
that ramp is here in north Carolina
how much was the total cost of this ramp
chris terry my guess: a lot, somewhere around 4K, I’m not sure though
@@axeledwards4162 I wish 4k... I'd take that that's prob 2-3 k w the "skate" sheets the top layer is made of. Wondering the same thing tho... How much this cost, 10 years ago lol... Maybe it was 4k back then haha. Thinking 10k today w a pro skate top. Those sheets run $200 for a 8x4. Of anyone reads this the amazing 10 years later, I'd love some input. Finding NOTHING today
They don't. Maybe some places do. If I had my own outdoor I MIGHT. I live in Colorado... So we see all 4 seasons pretty prominently. There is a outdoor vert ramp and 6 ft at Co springs memorial skate park. They don't do anything w um and they been there for yrs. You can see they replace sheets occasionally. Idk if they're the official skate ones I saw, but I'm sure theyre similar. Id say weather proof
The lumber, footers, and Skatelite alone today, would be around $40,000. I'm not kidding, we just built one 36' wide. That doesn't include labor.
How long did that skate ramp take? it great
Its a beast.
It's what dreams are made of.
thats so cool

I love this video. Thank you for sharing. Any plans out there for someone new to building vert ramps? How do I connect the bottom half of the transition to the upper half of the transition? I'm sure there's a specific cut but I'm not finding any tutorials about it. 🛼✌ Any advice or suggestions??

how high in feet is it
I'll head over
tell you what, find out for me please :). Ive spent many hours looking for a price but cant find any reliable information :(.
thumbs up if u skiped to the end
Did they really need a ramp that huge
What kind of wood is on the final top layer?
Its something called skatelite which is very expensive so if you want a cheaper alternative use Masonite which is the same thing but cheaper
I dont like skating on masonite. especially when its in the rain and its painted. man you should see how slippery that is.
Cost of the ramp build?
How many people worked on it? 1?
How much did it cost?
wow, not so far from charlotte haha... maybe a weekend trip? I'll camp out in my car i promise! hahah
I heard this 100 times before.

REM - Losing My Religion

But you didn't hear it this time. You read it.
idk my mini costs 800 but its pretty small,so i have no idea about this one
How much
HOLY SHIT, THIS HAVE TO GET WAY WAY WAAAAAY MORE VIEWS!!
that must of cost so much
8 months!
I started building ramps a few years back, just mini ramps mainly. I'd love to get enough tools and customer base to build something like this. Check out my facebook pages under Radius Ramps and show some love, anyone want a ramp Near Kona Skatepark in Middleburg, FL I can deliver or build on site like this. You get what you pay for. This is a quality ramp, I'm sure it cost about $40 grand.
Amazing... but how many broken bones so far? lol
well holly shit.
@kekosk8in 8 months
Hey new best friend, when can we go to your house and skate?
This is an industrial mothertruckin project...wtf...how long and how mich did it take you???...
Im gonna build a ramp 10 times smaller in my backyard...do you think skater of the area would come around and want to skate it? Can you charge them? Or leave a box and say "give whatever you want". What do you think, random youtube skater?
Jason Eaton put the couch outside and put the ramp in your living room.
now make another and it will be a fullpipe:D
should be renamed x games in your back yard
song broder
Defentily to much money
how much?
Edson Crusca maybe $10,000 + labor and tools.
2 people bought razor ramps
idk a couple thousend dollars skatelite is hella expensive :(
@LUK3SYboy That Wouldn't Cost $3000! More Like $30,000
Must me nice
no but you can shred it :D
couple thousand? no way my guess is 20-25k
Asking the price of this....well I bet the skatelite is almost 2 grand.
They probably used Masonite which is like 10 per sheet compared to skatelite 150 per sheet
you CANNOT use masonite for outdoor ramps specially on a 14ft by 40ft vert ramp.. unless you want to work for one full week and wait until the first rain and its all ruined.. everything was pressure treated which is double the price since its outdoor.. about $15k alone for framing and another $14k for skatelite pro 5x12 totaling $30k with shipping materials and if you get a quote for labor like teampain its another $20k
the price?...considering they did footings like that to hold it down that concrete goes exponential..
