I love living in Mobile. It is like having the best of both worlds city living with country charm. Close to everything one could need. Close to beaches, fishing, entertainment, casinos etc. The people are diverse culturally and I love that. Downtown Mobile is a beautiful city with huge oak trees and lovely houses. My hubby and I love to go for walks downtown. No it is NOT dangerous. We have never had any problems and we go for walks all the time.
No way does this street "resemble" Bourbon street, it may be an entertainment corridor with clubs, restaurants and other sites but, Bourbon street is raucous, wild, crowded and often times SMELLY, be glad that Dauphin street doesn't share those same attributes, c'est tout! ⚜️
mobile is a nice city maybe underrated by outsiders for it's history...like any city it does have it's warts, and as others have pointed out it's a poor city,in a poor state .mostly due to bad local and state leadership over the years
Name one city that's not dangerous? Statistically the city is safer than what is was in the 80s and 90s where they had 50 or more homicides almost every year
@@jalenbarlow1303 Mobile had 51 homicides in 2021, so that means a LOT of crime for such a smallish/big city. The facts speak for themselves, not what they were but what they ARE now. The FBI statistics show 2,042 violent crimes per 100,000 population. Of cities w/ over 100,000 population, the FBI says Mobile has the highest violent crime rate of all cities that reported to them. Or, a comparible crime rating to St Louis, Memphis and Detroit. That is seriously bad company. You must be a realtor Jalen.

Dauphin St resembles Bourbon St but smaller and definitely cleaner.

I live in Mobile, it's beautiful but very dangerous.
Name a city that's not dangerous ?
@@dwightdoomssr1926 They think that a city can have no crime at all.
I don't know where that would be but it's definitely not in this world.
Stastically, Mobile is safer than what it was in in 80s through the 90s where the city had 50 or more homicides.
9/11 from here
Dangerous city
