Been smoking tobacco pipes since I was twenty five, I'm now sixty five. My favorite pipe is my Mr. Brog Bulldog model #52 Scoot ebony rusticated pear wood root pipe. My favorite tobacco is RLP-6 Bulk blend from Lane Limited Scandinavian Tobacco Group. I have my fathers Zippo from forty years ago made for pipes, also a nice wooden cased lighter fluid lighter from Amazon that works fantastic. Subbed to your channel, Great content, Cheers from New Hampshire! 🇺🇸 👍 👍
I have been watching a lot of videos since I have started smoking a pipe, you are by far my kind of people! I hope you’re still making content. Thanks for all the info man
I know you thought about it so I’ve gotta give you credit…….my man, the fit is so fresh. I love the colors together and matching vaguely with the hat. Something pops about what you’ve got on.
I enjoy your pipe/ tobacco videos. I chewed and dipped tobacco for 25 years and quit a few years ago. I smoked cigarettes for 5 years but never enjoyed it. I am tobacco free but I do enjoy a good cigar 2 or three times a year. I don’t seem to have a addictive habit for smoking like I do for chewing tobaccos. I think I might try a pipe for a while just for a good enjoyable relaxing smoke while settin on the porch sippin a smooth drink watchin the sun set. Not everybody can have it that good so I better take advantage of it.
Entertaining video mate. Just want to emphasize for newbies who see this that the torch lighter really shouldn't be used especially on some nice briar. It will eventually compromise the integrity of the wood. Cheers
He's an idiot who doesn't take care of his pipes, if you watch him long enough you will see that he only smokes cheap pipes and beats the hell out of them.... Dude is like the poster child for how not to take care of and smoke a pipe..
Hey mate, great video. Wanted to touch on a few things. Corn cob pipes can definitely ghost, it’s meerschaum that doesn’t. (Pronounced: mear-shawm). Also, briar is more delicate than it lets on. Only soft flames should be used, and if they get too hot it can ruin them. (Not always). Happy piping!
If I learned nothing else, it's to not get a pipe with a deep bend due to the resistance. I despise when a draw is too tight on a cigar. So, I know I'd feel let down (to say the least) with that type of pipe! Thank you for this valuable information!
Eh just got a new sub, love the video, and I’m so excited to start my pipe smoking journey I tried cigars liked a few but I love the smell of pipe smoke and want to give it a shot next!!
I love my corncobs for everyday use. My briars I use when I can sit in the backyard and just relax. I have yet to try a church warden. But I want to just to be like Gandalf!
Can you do a video on the different types of tobacco? Btw, I came to your channel for knowledge and received that and the comedy as a bonus…thanks, you’ve gained a subscriber 😉
Meerschaum is German and translates to ‘sea foam’ which I knew without looking it up because I’m Danish and in Danish schools we are taught German as well as Danish and English.
Love the content! Love the video! Another thing I have picked up here recently is wood whittling. That’s super relaxing and great for solitude. Greetings from Redneck Vegas!
Meerschaum is "meer-shum" and the pointy thing on the multi-tool is a pick. The wet you are cleaning with your pipe cleaner is moisture from the burning tobacco, not so much your saliva. I mean it *can* be your saliva if you're trying to polish the stem off with your mouth like a Thai hook--sorry, you get the point.
Can’t go wrong with a Missouri Meerschaum corn cob. I think that burned pipe you have is a Dr. Grabow, also made in the good ol’ USA. They’re made in Sparta North Carolina.
I rather use a Zippo that has a angle insert yellow Flame What RUclips needs to hate is Electric- more not natural stuff they just don't want people smoking the healthiest cigars and pipe tobacco
Can you use a glass spoon pipe (the kind made for marijuana) for tobacco?? Don't judge me for being a pothead bro, you addicted to nicotine we all addicts here :)
Ok so, you don't actually inhale the smoke into your lungs, also the tobacco grown for smoking pipes are different and the nicotine content is also smaller. Just buy a corn pipe and go through it all the right way.
"I dont want to come off as arrogant just because I know everything" --- that line won you a thumbs up and a sub. Amazing. LOL.

Honestly, I have a ghosted Meer, so it's possible. That lakeland essence is pernicious!

My favorite pipes are the Vauen churchwardens. I tend to puff too much and it helps to keep the smoke cook. Great video!

The shovel on the 3 piece tool is also used for opening pipe tobacco tins
Keep the videos coming man. Great stuff.
Good information man. I was not aware of the break in process.
Need to get my hands on one soon…
Meerschaum is consistently the best smoke I’ve had. If you can afford a meerschaum just do it.

This is poker style pipe...also made with briar wood😎
I have about 20 pipes, only 2 are cobs, and I didn't "break in" any. I've not had any problems from not breaking in the pipe.
hello my friend I hope you are okay, where is the second part? And thank you.

In a corn cob pipe the stem does not set at the bottom Of the bowl less tar One my favorite pipes
I use a pipe but I'm looking for one that is extremely light and made of wood as I like to smoke while I use both hands to game.

Just remember, if you put the pipe in your mouth at the pipe store you probably just bought it.

It’s pronounced “Meerkat “ 😂
Ugggggghhh! 5 mins of his "style" and I had to switch it off! CLICK! Sorry! So corn-cobs don't "ghost" - I never realized that!!! A new one on me!
Yes I am indeed a moron.
Best advice to the tobacco pipe !
Put the pipe down and pick up a quality cigar
