Never feel embarrassed. That was classic tv and the world loved the cuteness and innocence that we love and miss in this world. I can't stop watching it. We need more interviews like that. Magical.
Yeah, that was a great interview.
You are absolutely right
Yeah, best awkward moment on tv ever by a host and best fail ever on a "date".
Their reactions are so genuine...
I bet Jimmy will regret that for ever...
I think there was some seed planting going on. Just sayin.
yeap body language speaks louder than words.
The interaction between her and Jimmy appeared genuine and priceless. If anything, it was a terrific peek into the past and if anything, garnered more positive attention for her. She shouldn't regret a thing, unless her husband hinted a little discomfort over the whole thing.
Agreed. I saw it as a funny story. We all have funny and embarrassing stories from the past. It's great that they could laugh about it. She has nothing to regret. This was great TV
I agree. It was so refreshing seeing stars interact like that. Pure simple joy and pure human interaction. I loved it...
She didn't really seem like she "regretted" being so candid. I absolutely loved the moment. We need more moments like that on tv. Real moments. Tv can feel so fake and scripted. Everyone can relate to that situation too when you find out someone liked you but didn't realize it! :)
I loved it too, for how real and raw it was. Sweet and innocent. It is a treasured moment.
noisound I think fans want to "ship"Jimmy and Nicole because they are quite sweet and genuine in real life. I feel bad that Nicole's friends criticised her in the episode's aftermath - it was an honest mistake and it makes her more relatable to her fans.
Jimmy now has a great story for his autobiography.
***** yes I totally agree! I don't really understand why everything has to be scripted, its so fake and everyone knows it's fake.
Tafami Yeah and he should entitle his autobiography:
"How video games ruined my chance to marry Nicole Kidman and sucked my life thereafter"
+msmusik2 Talk shows are very scripted. It's all pre-taped, interviews are on a time limit so all that night's segments will fit in the running time, the questions are chosen from a list, the interviews are rehearsed before taping to get a gauge on time, the crowd is told when to clap, very little is improvised or natural conversation. Once taping starts there can be lots of takes. Jimmy and Nicole could have went through that story 5 times to get the end result, that's why people criticize Jimmy's laughing and emotions as fake, it's hard to laugh naturally at a joke or story the 3rd or 4th time. Sometimes it's more improvised than rehearsed, but it's very similar to the average scripted program. Doesn't seem that way watching it on TV, but it's true
That moment on TV very likely did her more good than any 100 staged, handled, managed appearances could have done. They both came off as suddenly turning into middle school students before our eyes, and it was endearing.
The problem is she didn't know that Jimmy didn't know it was a set up so she revealed as much as she did because she thought he would explain to her what happened and why he whiffed it so bad only to find out he had no idea! But it was already too late and she'd already revealed too much by the time we realized.
It was their friend's fault. He did a really bad job.
This happens all the time. I have been as clueless as Jimmy. I have had few times when i've understood the situation like 5 years later. "OH THAT'S WHY SHE WANTED TO COME WATCH TV WITH ME 10PM IN THE EVENING" and at the time i was like "i'm so tired, i'm just gonna go sleep, i'll watch the episode tomorrow, see you later".
Bang on (imo).
I think Jimmy owes us an interview with (or perhaps interrogation of) Rick!! -The lousy wingman.
If nothing else, her honesty is refreshing. I saw this the night it appeared and thought, "My gosh, that was not planned at all." It shows how open Fallon is on his show, and it definitely adds to it.
👍
👍
Out of all the things she has done I think her late show appearance is so genuine. She shouldn't feel bad about it. Plus it was so funny.
lol that interview is a lesson on chemistry and body language... there's a reason why there's millions of views, it's hilarious, adorable and endearing all at the same time....
the only one i can see feeling a ways about it, is maybe keith urban and jimmy fallon's wife....
I blame their friend for not telling Jimmy outright I want you to meet Nicole to see if you guys click, not meet in a 'hang out' sense.
Every one blames him including Jimmy Fallon and Nicole Kidman.
Nicole, please, you have absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. Signals got crossed. It happens!
That interview was priceless and so precious! I wished there were more genuine moments like this on TV … Nicole looks as beautiful as ever and it's wonderful to see her so down to earth and cool. :)
she regrets nothing, she still likes Jimmy I think
Shes married...
idk Violet? So
@@user-pe2yx9kt4e that means she can't like him cuz shes married
No hate
@@cocobust761 if you think married people cant have crushes on other people idk what to tell you
@@nowherewoman2714 i do but not like in love
Its nice to see celebrities are real people just like the rest of us. Geeky, clueless and unaware at times. I loved this interview...
EXACTLY. It was beyond classic :-)
You shouldn't feel bad for being honest and truthful. That video has over 30 million views because not only is it funny, it's an honest interaction. Good on Nicole and Jimmy, for talking honestly to one another and making us all laugh. Absolutely no harm was done, and it's a classic moment of modern television.
This is the best story
I think they would have been very happy together. They look like they would still like each other.
Maybe, but she is very happy with Keith urban
I actually respect her more for her candidness. Something fun, and we can relate to.
I think Jimmy Fallon is the one with the regret!
nah he's investing for a time machine 8-9 years tops
CCJJ160Channels I think if Jimmy wasn't married he might be regretting not being able to have a chance because she's married but you could tell by the 2 times she was on the show..shes still into him, especially the 2nd interview when she had Keith come on and she sat on Keith's lap..i mean how much more obvious can she be
"... I'm going to send him a baseball cap and some saltine crackers!" Oh she's hilarious. I hope this Paddington movie is a huge success for her...This film may be more popular to international audiences but only time will tell. She seems to have some odd fondness for that ole bear. ~ Very glad she was so candid in that interview. Jimmy typically gives candid interviews, which personally speaking, what has made him so appealing to me. ~ "An ACT?" ~ The only people who think this interview is "rehearsed" or "acting" are people who aren't familiar with Jimmy Fallon. (they rehearse segments of the show, but not interviews and JF's reaction is obviously uncomfortable. That show is very selective on who they allow to participate there, so it's even more special for that reason. ~ On a small scale, this is a Tonight Show GOLDEN interview. On a large scale, its one of the best night time talk show interviews. Unfortunately, it's at Mr. Fallon's expense.
I love it. It shows that celebrities are human too. They have crushes and romances and break-ups and divorces and not everything works out all the time. They're rich & famous & beautiful, but otherwise they're just like us.
Stream Just Like You by Louis Tomlinson in Spotify.
One of the most beautiful moments in talkshow history. Its just lovely. So dont regret it , embrace it. Nicole you are just adorable.....
She shouldn't regret it. It was funny and entertaining. Just plain awesome!
She had nothing to regret. It was funny and real life.
Nicole it was the best thing I've ever seen you do! You became more human to me, it was amazingly candid and I was thankful for the share!
Oh she shouldnt regret that. Its like the first time i noticed the private person Nicole. She can be so distant and upright but this was so sweet.
She really loves him so much, can't get over it after years, it's great and sad at the same time.
It was sweet and nostalgic. There was no need to be embarrassed.
she rocked that dress!
say she has earned her right she can say whatever she wants come on now it was a sweet moment. it is what it is. he seemed surprised and it was cute.
oh my if only i had some friends that i can share this happiness from this awkward yet adorable funny interview....
I've had misses like that in my life. Not to that extent. That's Nichole Kidman! If I were Jimmy, that revelation would have stung for a long while. She has nothing to be embarrassed about. Great story.
47?! holy crap she looks like she's still in her twenties
Jimmy + Nicole = ADORABLE!
Nicole was absolutely adorable. She was funny and human as any woman would be! I have a renewed love for her. Urban is so lucky.
I think it's great, it just shows a more touchable, and human side. That these are "real live people" with real live feelings and you never know what's gonna happen.
Adults acting like teenagers is the BEST!!!
i just love this woman she's so precious
She is that kind of honest person who can say hard things in a cute way. I like her.
it was a great interview. I'm glad she and Jimmy got it all out there. :D
If Nicole had come to my apartment that story would be totally different. She is such a doll baby.
I can identify with Jimmy (but surely not the apparent inattentiveness perceived by Nicole while in Jimmy's apartment) and would probably beat my head against a wall or take the couch with a shrink, too, if I had knowingly blown a date with her in my single years.
She is a honest women.. really lovely.
Today the clip has over 52 million views 😂😂😂😂😂
It's nice to see honesty for a change and the sweetness of it.
People blow everything out of proportion. They are both married with kids. They were just having fun. No harm no foul.
She doesn't have to regret. That's so cute show ever!
Nicole...you being real is what people want to see, and this made me like you 20 X more!!! Be Real!!!!
It was the cutest thing I've ever seen though
What's wrong with the fact that she said she liked him during the interview? I don't understand why people shouldn't say who they like or used to like... it's like something embarrassing you have to hide... no it's not!
They would have made a cute couple. Jimmy is a sincerely nice guy.
Married or not, I still think she has a little crush on Jimmy she was a little too obvious and I was so embarrassed for poor Jimmy
She didn't say that she regret it..
Ohh, that was TV gold.
The video is such a view steal it ridiculous.
It was soo cute & funny & innocent! It happened a gazillion years ago...why people can't just laugh about it like they did & stop being negative. Gosh!
i loved that interview she seemed so genuine i never even heard of her before that but i loved her immediately lol
That was a brilliant share. Hilarious.
its a super lovely clip love watching it.
It's 48 million views now on RUclips...and one of my most favourite interviews ever😜!!!
a missed romantic hook-up is a sub story in The Secret In Their Eyes, but that was a uber serious movie. A movie version of Nic and Jimmy would be a lot more fun
Well I can relate to them, both, they feel the same way but no one had this called courage to express how they feel, to convey something in order to them to get to know and have a good start conversation and so on .
come on nicole it was great i watch it like 3 times each moth lol!!
Now 21 million XD
noisound 30 Million! =)
+Doxi- DoxTv now over 31 million!! OMG! the rate of increase in views has slowed but still high
32 million!
+Kimberly Fallon 33 million. Saw the video for the first time today. 01/31/2016
Adarsh AR lol that's amazing
Thats happened to me before too. it happens to everyone im pretty sure.
Aw she shouldn't feel bad about that it was great and people loved the story! No falseness about it! Good show
I don’t want her to feel any regret at all. I literally watch that clip like once or twice a year Bc every single time it cracks me up but there was a sweet vulnerability to it. The authenticity behind both of their reactions /feelings and chemistry was truly great to see. It was an accidental intimate moment that was shared with all of us. I absolutely love it and she has nothing to be embarrassed about. It really was hilarious but touching to watch. Love both of them for giving us that TV magic.
What is the song at the end? Does anyone know? It starts at 1:55
That interview with her and Jimmy now has 45 Million views.

I thought I couldn't love her anymore than I do. She is absolutely adorable!
He was asking her whether people called her to talk about it or not while interviewing the same thing, lol.
I'm sure this moment lives rent free in his mind.
Its one of golden interview 😊, dont regret it nicole you were super gorgeous and genuine
Jimmy is cute and child like and can charm his way in or out of awkward situations better than most I would say....
Dude, Jimmy had no GPS skills.
He should have asked her...
Tell us some strange things about your ex...Tom ......
I got a Jimmy Fallon ad for Valentines Day.
Regret?? Where? Misleading headline!!
Jasmin Romero clickbate bro
No, not misleading. She clearly says now when I see it I say “Nicole button it... “ meaning keep your mouth shut next time.
Jimmy is the real Ted Mosby
I think Rick was playing a prank on Jimmy and laughing about it afterwards, thinking, "Gotcha!".
She shouldn't feel bad it was great
Love Here in Any Movie 💗💗💗
At the time 7.5M views. It's now 48M & counting! 😂
it now has 38 million views, pretty awesome!!
What is she's saying on 1:42 ? Please tell me.
mas bro Probably "shit". "They've given me such shit". She means they've given her a hard time, everybody's heard about it, and probably wants to tease her about it or talk about it and she's embarrassed so she dreads people bringing it up and thats why she regrets mentioning it on the show. I'm sure if she knew it would be SUCH a huge, 20-million-view deal, she wouldn't have revealed it in the first place, haha!
The interview was great TV
i wonder what they beeped out at 1:40
His last question was so stupid.
:LMAO IT WAS!
Did she say SHIT!?
lol That's funny.
So genuine.
I've met Nicole Kidman ✌️
What was she like?
is she as beautiful as she looks?
Yes she was beautiful! She was filming a movie at my local shops
Brooke McNamara Me too. Gorgeous in real life as well - but very cool. Laughed a lot, nice to everyone, left a fifty for tips, etc
Blew it Jimmy boy...:-)
I love Nicole's voice she would've been an adorable Paddington bear :D
yup
I watch this every time I need a god laugh. She should have no regrets. It was classic good real TV.
Filipino Star voiced over the beer! :D
She's 47?! just assumed she was early 30's, late 20's.
Nicole didn't like the way she looked in the Dreamweaver scetch, so she made Jimmy take it off RUclips. Too bad, it was really funny. The premise being she is so beautiful, he hears the song every time she speaks. She IS beautiful, and not made fun of in it. Wish she'd ok to bring it back! We love you, Nicole.
Nicole still gets flustered when talking about Jimmy Fallon.
wow, Nicole is still so beautiful, it's just amazing that she had a crush on him. i'm unable to detect any charisma or talent in him whatsoever. I've never watched any of his tonite show except on clips like this, and I have never watched him once when he was reportedly on Saturday night live. (I have to admit I have never watched Saturday night live since will "the least talented, least funny being in the universe" Ferrell helped ruin the formerly entertaining show.
Dork
"That's the only role I was offered in the movie"
This lady s such a fine actress 👌🏻❤️
Its good to be real Nicole. Nothing to regret about. We love you so much more!
Kidman is so real damn I hope she would have said something that time when she was on a date with Jimmy Fallon and the scenario would have been totally different
Well it is one of the greatest ever.
