The World Hopper Nicole was very nice and patient with her. As soon as she made that comment "the woman who can't cook!" I would've made her look really stupid. Ellen wouldn't have known what to do.
She once made a cake in her cooking show and I could see it failed, they didn't even take it out of the cake pan. I know things don't always come out perfect especially when bakinh but honestly I don't know where she gets her cockiness from
her gender is irrelevant to her cockiness... even if she was a man, she would still be considered cocky with the way she was acting and talking to ellen and nicole kidman. yeah, and maybe, some ignorant people would view it like that, but most people don't and by pulling that gender card out (sometimes it is needed - do not get me wrong such as in the work place - but here it is completely irrelevant) it causes unneeded bickering.
LMAO at Nicole's honesty hahaha. I think I love her even more after this. The whole thing was awkward and hilarious. I seriously haven't laughed like that in a long time.
It's not honesty, it's misery. She's negative and passive/aggressive. She pretends to be nice and then says something negative. It's the equivalent of saying - no offense, before making an offensive comment. As in, no offense, but your face looks like a scary clown mask with air pumped into it.
@@adrianlima2776 insinuating it’s not hard to be a good cook. There are many of them. Maybe idk that’s just my take on it. Giada and Nicole’s entire exchange is very passive aggressive.
I'm the same when it comes to cooking as Nicole. It stresses me out when I can't know exact measurements or cooking times. Like "cook until golden brown." Like, what? Is that 5 minutes or 10? And what qualifies as golden brown? Golden brown can mean many things to many people. I need precision!
My advice to you (and Nicole) is not to get hung up on cooking times. Cooking times are only rough guides, situations vary. For example, food size, thickness, moisture, latent temp, etc could vary piece to piece, let alone batch to batch. So you have to use your senses. Golden brown? Basically the shade of the fried chicken you buy in restaurants. Don't have more than two timers going at the same time, that definitely stresses you out.
I feel the same with baking. I can cook simple things, but baking is my weak side. I literally don't understand how to measure things to bake a fine cake.
Problem is cooking time is not universal, depends on 1 billion things, like how powerful is your cooktop, is it gas/glass ceramic/induction? What oil you are using, etc So really theonly way is to try and don't do recipes you don't know for an impo event like a party or dinner for guests. Try first and do it again, so you will know how to adjust. I learned mostly things from my mom and she never needed any timer to know those things, not even for baking cake. You try and then adjust.
Nicole’s got her height working for her, so Giada couldn't really bully her, so she had to find other ways. I luv how Nicole gets the audience to realize how ABSURD this cooking segment is. No more invites for Giada, that's for sure !
That's the thing about height. Men might well assume height advantage exists when someone is in a conflict situation and yes - the perception of height does impact on 'alpha' and 'toughness' etc. It doesn't actually work that way for women though, as for us height is not an asset - outside of supermodels and celebs, height is actually treated as a weakness for women, or additionally something to pick on, not look upon as favourable. Very tall women are often disadvantaged or bullied for height, not seen as "someone with advantage against bullying" which is more a male experience.
Well when the group project consists of a person whose job is cooking and the other two are not, why would the other two be interested. Obviously Giada cannot lead well because she already lost them with her bad attitude. I would have been the same way and I am a trained professional baker.

This is awkward as hell. But seriously funny
*usually when a videos comments are filled with insults to a guest, the social media workers disable the comments. Not this time XD*
That giada pisses me off
So rude

Underrated Shade Queen.
Wow!!! You went above and beyond to get this to us. Good job!. That should be a top rated comment!
Nicole is a legend!
"omg! the woman who can't cook made a perfect ball!"... what a jerk! ;(
It was actually a quirky compliment meant to be in jest. Nicole had admitted she couldn't cook. Moron.
Joe H It's one thing for you to insult yourself and another thing for someone else to do it.....
I just feel she doesn't have people skills is all
Joe H Your the moron. She was saying that to Nicole to throw shade on Ellen.
Abigail Alonso Yeah I know so obnoxious
No she wasn't. The fact that you used the phrase "throw shade" proves to me you are the moron.
Ellen, you’re funny and sweet. And you handle awkward situations like these so gracefully! You didn’t even have to say anything and your message was louder than that woman. Lol Giada made a fool of herself with her loud mouth and lack of manners.
Love you Ellen! ❤️ 🤗
This was soooo uncomfortably akward! I’m so happy Nicole said “it’s a little tough” as a throw back at her !
Nicole, if you read this, I am on your side! you handled that situation with total grace! Giada has always acted like a cocky know it all twit. I would have put her in her place but you handled that better than anyone. I love you!
i love Nicole in this she makes it so much better
Ellen’s face when she started chewing the focaccia 😆😂
Nicole is so hilarious. Wish she had a show like this
Nicole: *takes the skin off of the orange*
Giada: you don’t have to take the skin off, honey *starts to take skin off of her orange*
Ellen: but now YOURE taking it off
Giada:nO i WaS jUsT sEpArAiDinG thEm
HAHAHA i couldnt stand her omG
She was separating them
Even famous people are assholes!!!!!
“Then don’t make so many things” 🙄
Yeah that was strange of Giada lol
What the f*** is Giada's problem with Nicole?! She didn't even greet her or look straight at her!! Jealousy is so green!
maybe nicole wouldnt let her look at her ........
Dana Al-Basha I think she was intimidated. Sometimes people act like that when they are nervous.
She was so rude to Ellen and Nicole
Dana Al-Basha her problem is Nicole is a Star n gorgeous...n.she isnt
Its a complex. Nichole has perfect features and it makes her complex about her features flare up . It must be painful, she probably cant help herself
i love the double meaning behind "its a little tough"
like the bread is tough but Giada is also being tough to them xD
Love Nicole by throwing shade elegantly at the end.. Such a beauty in and out
This Giada lady is too cocky. This was a mess.
Other still I wouldve said the same thing but with "he" instead
really dog food and the women who can't cook whats wrong with giadas brain
LMAO at Nicole's honesty hahaha. I think I love her even more after this. The whole thing was awkward and hilarious. I seriously haven't laughed like that in a long time.
This makes me love Nicole more.
It's not honesty, it's misery. She's negative and passive/aggressive. She pretends to be nice and then says something negative. It's the equivalent of saying - no offense, before making an offensive comment. As in, no offense, but your face looks like a scary clown mask with air pumped into it.
Giada to Nicole: “The women who can’t cook”
so mean...
Why does Ellen have this lady back...
Nicole had mentioned earlier in the segment that she can't cook. She was just making a friendly joke about what NIcole said about herself.
Aint no lady
Lol fans of ellen did not know the true ellen ,watch dakota johnson claps back to ellen because of no being invited but the truth is ellen is invited.
Giada- This is pizza dough for my restaurant
Nicole- There are many great cooks in the audience, am I right? Lol
The SHAAAADDDEE
I don’t get this one
Like the other commenter,
"golden brown" in the kitchen = the color of fried chicken, or the color of a grilled cheese sandwich.
Cesar Porro lmao
I feel the same with baking. I can cook simple things, but baking is my weak side. I literally don't understand how to measure things to bake a fine cake.
Problem is cooking time is not universal, depends on 1 billion things, like how powerful is your cooktop, is it gas/glass ceramic/induction? What oil you are using, etc
So really theonly way is to try and don't do recipes you don't know for an impo event like a party or dinner for guests. Try first and do it again, so you will know how to adjust.
I learned mostly things from my mom and she never needed any timer to know those things, not even for baking cake. You try and then adjust.
Does anyone else find Giada's smile false? She also seems to have a lot of suppressed anger to me.
I would too if I was her and just ruined my career on the Ellen show...
she looks like a psychopath, her smile is huuuuuge, like joker stats
lazypuck
She cant control how big her mouth is, that’s the way she was born. Messed up lol.
Su zi everything about her seems false/fake to me. She appears to be a major ball busting c u next tuesday.
nah she just has a ton of teeth
5:14 Oscar winning shade
Very tall women are often disadvantaged or bullied for height, not seen as "someone with advantage against bullying" which is more a male experience.
when Giada made fun of Nicole's cooking abilities it all went down hill from there.
nicole had the best comeback ever!!! "it's a little tough"
pressuredpsyche it was the condescending, "have you ever made meatballs, or anything?" Followed by an eyeroll.
wasn't that towards ellen?
this is what happen when you're in a group project. only 1 person will be the serious one and others (me) will be the jokers.
Hahaha best comment!!!
Well when the group project consists of a person whose job is cooking and the other two are not, why would the other two be interested. Obviously Giada cannot lead well because she already lost them with her bad attitude. I would have been the same way and I am a trained professional baker.
This is exactly why *I* had to label each fetal pig organ. Bio 101, really, there I am cutting as some girl cries and two guys try to impress her with how sensitive they are. I hope this was a good story. It truly happened. We passed, BTW.
Adam Arif oh I know exactly what's that
I'm always the one serious person!
I don’t know, but it seems to me that all three were having a good time. I don’t think that they were taking each other too seriously. Fun to watch.
I love that Nicole called that cook out!
This was stressful to watch
Yes cringy
Amen to that! My heart is palpitating 😆😆😆
That rude chef
I love how Nicole and the chef were literally giving each other death stares whilst Ellen was just there eating.
Literally me 😂
I just wanted to say that I’m Italian and we ABSOLUTELY DON’T USE ALMOND MILK TO COOK ARANCINI
She purposely uses vegan ingredients when on this show because Ellen is vegan.
I burst out laughing the moment I heard her say almond milk.
She is using VEGAN ingredients for Ellen.
But you CAN use it.
@1:11, “the woman who can’t cook make the perfect ball!” 😎
I love Nicole and Ellen together
Yeah not that rude chef
why was the "chef" so aggressive towards Nicole... She kept insulting her one way or another. ..
The way she called her hun, or lets get her some water sounded so bitchy to me!
Seanna Foreman I know right!
I agree, and Giada only spoke of her using the third person. She never directly addressed Nicole, like she was not present.
jealousy.
They are enemies. Read about them
Nicole is a class act. She knew how to deflect. Giada was on a power trip. What is her problem? It's a talk show. Duh
1:10 i admire how professional Nicole was. That woman was insulting her and she didn't say anything. she’s so classy and adorabelle.
Nicole is so graceful. Giada is so condescending.
Ellen's reaction while chewing the pizza was so funny! It looks like she's eating a jawbreaker 😆 The chef is so tense and looks like Ellen and Nicole are getting stressed 😂
Oh my god Nicole such a humble and very fun person... love her so much
I like Ellen and Nicole's cooperation in here!!! Love it HAHA ❤️❤️👑👑
Those side eyes from Nicole xD
I used to love watching giada but she was kinda too controlling here and her choice of words were a bit rude
„a bit“
*Nicole cuts an orange*
"I'm like working hard here" lol
My absolute favorite Ellen piece ever right here!
