I can see why you say this is my absolute favorite to all of your containers as they are all stunning and I found myself saying the same thing....love them all! I must get brave next year and start putting a lot more different varieties together in my containers, too!
In the Milwaukee area along Lake Michigan these plants are feeding alot of pollinators right now: verbena bonariensis, walkers low catmint, OMG basil varieties, swan river daisy, allysum, natives like coneflower/sunflower/blk eyed Susan, agastache, mulbery tree starts.
Love these tours. Rocking deep purple and Rocking blue suede shoes stole my heart this year. They are prolific, beautiful colors, and The hummingbirds are there every day. I am planning to use A LOT more of these next year.
I picked up some verbena seed last fall from a dried, tipped over plant that I passed on a walk. It was laying in the street. I got six tall gorgeous plants out of it, from that little bit of seed! Will put some in a container next year, it looks amazing!

Love to see all these beautiful contained flowers 🌺 I agree on the blue salvia, ( I may have had a diff variety) But I planted it in an area around our pool and we had hummingbirds constantly zooming all around us. So fun!! I live in Georgia and it spread so much each year. My fav flower. It was deep blue and to me, there’s just not enough blue flowers ☺️☺️

I’ve got to get some citronella. I get attacked by mosquitos. Do you have other tips to repel mosquitos? You guys are always hanging out in your yard. If I hang out out too long in my yard, I get bit all over. 😾
Also if you mist it the aroma gets more intense. I'll take a leaf and rub it on me also. Peppermint seems to be working well for mosquitoes this year also!
I need tips on how to keep that banana tree beautiful because mine keeps getting the tips yellowing and browning. Seems like if it gets wind breakage there is no stopping the yellowing for me ..

Is your verbena bonariensis PW meteor shower, or something you seeded or purchased? I’ve never seen it sold as a flat in a nursery or garden center. After seeing yours last year, I ordered seeds, but they are NOT verbena Bonariensis and I’m so disappointed!
