    I tried the crowded look in my containers and window boxes. Won't make that mistake again, expensive and the glory of the arrangement never reached its peak of full beauty. I agree with you 💯👍

    My window box is looking great but my handing baskets are not as nice with the heat wave we've had this summer. I'm in Alberta and we're in a drought and hot every day. The window box faces south and is filled with Petunias. They are lovely and growing up the window and well over the box. The hanging baskets were so full and beautiful, now just looking like how I feel, melting in the heat.

    Is that pink sweet William at the corner of the second window box? At 8:00. I started a bunch of seeds this year. They're still foliage in the garden. Came to find out this is a biennial, so they won't flower until next year? Yours is a must watch channel. Thank you for sending us updates : )

    How do you keep the bugs from eating everything? Everything was eaten in my yard😢. Like a smorgasbord

    • @TheLawrenceGardenFarm
      @TheLawrenceGardenFarm  5 месяцев назад +1

      I spray for bugs mid June. Before I see any problems. I use monterey or trifecta, they are organic options, but there are many options out there. I make sure to cover all of the underside of the leaves and the upper side of the leaves. This is usually around the time that larvae starts, and it gets it under control. After that, I don’t need to spray, we have many gardens around that we have planted and seeded, with the intention of attracting beneficial bugs and pollinators. All of these balance out the bad bugs as the season goes by feeding on them. I will still see a few bad bugs, throughout the season, but I have not been spraying past that point. If I see one area, that’s really infested, I will spray it very heavily, but not everywhere, just in that localized space. Always make sure to do this at the end of the day, when the sun isn’t hot, bc it can possibly burn your plants, depending on what you use. If you are using something for the first time, always try it out on a small section 1st, to make sure that it doesn’t interact with your plant in a negative way.

    I always wonder why people make sure to use organic fertilizer on their edibles but they're ok with giving the pollinators synthetic, harmful fertilizers. 🤷🏼

    Don't mean to be rude and maybe it's just me, but I just feel like she really talks condescendingly to her husband. I like they're videos and she's got lots of good information but since I've seen this more than five times I don't think it's my imagination... Has anyone else noticed the way she talks to him? I just thought I should see if anyone else see the same thing.
