Wow thanks so much!
I'm off to make some of these using different knit tops I bought and never wore...the print was a bit much overall but will make some beautiful headbands. I'm not opposed to whip stitching the seam in place so it never shows.
Very clever!! Thank you so much!!
These are my favorite headbands thanks for sharing I love it 👏🏼
A nice tutorial and my first headband turned out very well. I will make the next one a little narrower to fit me better. Thank you.
This is awesome, thank you for sharing and making it simple.
Really lovely. Thank you for sharing with everybody
Thank you for the tutorial and for including the measurements.
So easy! Exactly what I was looking for!
Yours is the easiest to follow. Thank you.
Thank you for this tutorial! It came out a little big for me, so I think I'll cut the fabric to 5 or 6 by 21 next time. Really cute! And the knot at the top is not uncomfortable, for those in the comments who are wondering!
Very easy to follow. These will go perfect with my bathing suits. Thank you so much.
You’re so welcome! Have fun sewing!

Great video..and I love your cutting board !!
Thank you!! ❤️🤍
Great tutorial ..TY..:)
I have a small head and wear small or kids hats. I used a 19” width (incl. seam allowance) and it was still slightly large. I was using a 4-way stretch bamboo jersey.
Simple design. Took minutes to complete.
Great tutorial gurl.
Thanks 🙏
Nice & easy.

Hi thanks. You are a awesome tutor. I was interested to learn how to sew waist coat can you help ?please & thank you 😊
Great tutorial. May I ask what sizing one should use for a toddler? Thanks!
Awesome I am going to make myself one, is there any other designs for headbands you can share?
👏👍💞
Thanks for the tutorial can we weave that part u stitched??
Can you show your sewing machine settings for the zigzag stitch? I think I have the same sewing machine.
2 things
Not sure seam at top of head would be comfortable. And how do you cut on your warped cutting board? You can straighten out the warp.
I’ve had no complaints from adults or kids with where it is stitched. I wear them myself and they’re the only headbands that do not give me headaches after wearing it. The board on the other hand, I love the story behind it so I choose not to fix it. I have plenty of boards, this ones my favorite. The cuts still come out perfect every time. ☺️ Thanks for the tips!
I have a sensitive scalp due to a skin problem and I find this a very comfortable headband, the seams are not noticeable. Of course the choice of material is important too and a thin soft fabric works for me.
Does Spandex fabric work aswell
I am curious, when you stretch the fabric, you can see the stitches. Is there something I am doing wrong?
What dimensions would you do for a kids headband?
6”x15”. I would play around with the sizing to make sure it works as kids are all so different!
Did you mean right sides of fabric together before seeing the first seam?
Yes it has to be sewn inside out. 😊
Yes, you imply to sew wrong sides together, bit confusing, but overall a great tute, thanks!
What kind of material works best?
Dee S knit or bullet material is best!
@@KayJays hi I'm using bullet but it's too thick for my sewing machine. Can you help me figure out how to sew through all the layers?
@@roxyroxy1973 are you using a regular needle or are you using a sturdy/heavy industrial needle?
@@KayJays whatever came with the machine. I'm fairly new to sewing. I have a singer heavy duty 6600.
@@roxyroxy1973 I would look into getting a heavy duty/industrial needle and try it.
Can you use spandex?
kerrie rapp yes! You may need to adjust the sizing
What are the measurements of your head band's? 😮
Sizing is in the description! You may need to modify the sizing to fit your needs.
How many headbands can you make out of 1 yard of fabric?
Maybe four?
I’m so sorry for the delay! Around 8! It depends on the cut and such. I also started to do 8”x20” for a tighter feel around the head. At 22” they kept sliding off of me and some of my family.
@@KayJays hi, what is the name of this knit fabric? Where can I find? 😊
@@livinglifegracefullee hi! It’s just called knit fabric. Joanns, Walmart, hobby lobby and any other store around that carries a variety of materials should all have it!
Why do you choose to do a stitch like that in the front instead of the back?
